@tspro It's was a regular gradient. I simply pressed "g" to select the gradient tool and then clicked the object to apply it to. As far as the 3d look, I simply made a copy of the text, filled it with a darker color and placed it behind everything else. Let me know if this helped, thanks for watching. :p
@Agent2018 Ok, for the gradient, whats the name of it, because the only gradients that are showing is-- Fade to Black, Super Soft Black Vignette, Green-Yellow-Orange, and purple radial. And to let you know i have Illustrator CS5.1 im trying to find the gradient that you have. Thanks :)
@tspro Are you referring to the part at 6:36? I was never aware there was a name for it. I always simply use the gradient tool (G key) and gradient panel (window/ gradient panel) to apply my gradients. So if there is an actual name to the gradients I wouldn't know what they are, sorry.
@Agent2018 ok well thanks for everything. I watched part 2 for the lightning effect- very sweet!! ive learnt alot from your tutorials and I appreciate it!! Thanks alot! :-D
To tell you the truth, I never thought about trying it in Photoshop...hmmm...I'll see what happens and let you know. What part was hard for you to follow?
hey, can this be followed in Photoshop because i had trouble following you in Illustrator. plus the stupid colors dont change. there stuck on the preset ones.
and how did you tap the shadow into the text? im confused how to do the 3d look @ 8:45
