Personally, I kinda dig cheesy Japanese-Pop music in over-the-top games. Of course, I'd never listen to that stuff outside of playing those games. I just find it a nice change of pace, cos I find most games scores to be boring and/or generic.

Also, when Capcom attempts to appeal to the US market when it comes to music, you get soundtracks like Street Fighter 3's... Awful faux-rap shiat. :P

@ 2:15 NO! The only controllers that are simplified are the wii mote and the wii mote+nunchuck. The Classic Controller/Gamecube are not simplified. You cant pull off very good combos wit the wii mote options cause they are very limit your moves.

I dont know whats the problem with the japanese sound, and the stupid question of this guy: "Why is this game even exist?" for the same reason that X-Men vs Street Fighter exist. It didnt matter to me if i dont know the Tatsunoko characters, what matter to me is that Ryu, Batsu and Zero are in this game. In this game capcom really did some character selection, instead of putting the same characters from Marves vs Capcom series they actually give this game a crossover feeling too.

1) Japanese Pop Music. It's Tatsunoko. It's Japanese. Is logic not going through your minds right now? Or are you that stupid?

2) To those who say TvC is a casual game, you too, are idiots. TvC is NOT a causal game. You try pulling off these combos. Half of you won't even be able to. Plus have you even played this game? Have you even played people online? With your posts? I think not.

About the sound: Tatsunoko is a JAPANESE company. It is fair that there is j-pop and the gamestyle is random and zany, which the music fits. Secondly, of course the character voices sound the same as the originals. They ARE the original voice actors (for tatsunoko at least, disregarding the yattermans). I love this game and I think it deserves better reviews.

Complaining about the controls makes no sense.

Just play with the gamecube controller. Actually the game recommends the GC controller.

But it did well to allow people to play with either wii remote alone, wii remote plus nunchuck or classic controller.

Controller options are a plus.

Errr, Capcom DID change the soundtrack for the US version. The OP theme is in English (and added some rap). There are no character specific themes. So, yeah, this Japanese game IS without J-Pop, contrary to his review.

Some of the characters are REDICULOUSLY cheap though and the cinematic cutscenes were removed from the American version which was, (at least for me) a devastating blow. Also, you don't really get a whole lot of background on the individual characters themselves aside from some of the ending storyline artwork. I'd really like to have been able to read up on the Tatsunoko characters and learn about the series they're from. In my opinion, this game is a 7.5/10.0

While I can agree w/ simplified controls, this review is pretty misleading with those 3 buttons. Although I use a gc controller rather than wiimote, there are 3 normal attack buttons: low, mid, high and they combine punch and kick. Then there is the partner button and optional buttons that combine inputs to do specials.

For all of you complaining that this is only on the Wii: The main reason it's Wii only is because the original arcade build was based on the Wii.
