  • love it hopefully ill get to do some shizz like this with my jeep minus the snow it doesnt snow to often here in australia

  • cool vid dude

  • thanks for the video! Where is this trail?

  • @GiuseppeM

Private property in Virginia. Roughly between DC and Richmond.

  • @AlxJ64 oh thanks! I've been looking for a place in nova but I only find private lands!

  • @GiuseppeM

Search for Crozet RCFPA. That is one of the closest places you will find that is more open. Still a membership required as its still private.

  • I cringe every time the branches scrape down that soft top.lol. Guy behind camera your are hilarious. sweet vid.

  • I had wondered if you two were going somewhere or what. Then I was thinking that I wouldn't get out in that unless I had some place to go and lo and behold you were going to somebody's house.

    Thanks for a great video.

  • how much is that green jeep lifted? and what size tires?

    awesome vid btw!!

  • @bcronce16

5" lift I believe. Its a hybrid of a Full Traction long arm kit, mixed with some Rubicon express parts. 35" KM2s which he quickly got rid of and switched to Maxxis Trepador Radials.

  • The guy behind the camera keeps making me laugh :)

  • Great intro. I feel like that always. :O)

  • What kind of tires are these. They are awesome in the deep snow

  • 2:27 that guy needs some Snow tires. look up Pacemark Snowtrakkars.

  • Yeah dude. awesome Footage sweet video!! i love driving around in the snow like this. Ive got a 99 Chevrolet K2500 now but im meeting up with a guy to trade for a wrangler. and the more videos i watch on here the more i want it.

  • awesome footage felt like i was there

  • @100silverpizza They're having fun. Maybe you should try it sometime.

  • 1:36 he says it all

  • Jealous...I'm still working on my YJ.

  • Spit 0:01

  • Dude, I really want to try this! I'm obsessed with Jeeps now... :P

But why is everyone bitching about "ruining their rides?" I thought being off road was what jeeps were made for. -_-

    Anyway, thanks for posting!

  • great vid!! its so funny how people get mad bout others vids lol there probly drivin a 1983 buick, keep poundin on them rides i do on my 4x4 thats what i built it for so thats what i do 2

  • i love the beginning of this video, so funny :)

  • Anybody knows any trails around Fairfax?

  • This vid has now showed me that jeeps are more versatile than a pickup truck

  • i cant wait til it snows!!!

  • I don't see why everyone is so pissy about th way you run your jeeps. you buy a vehicle to have fun with it the way YOU like, not so that it will look good to everyone else.

  • Excellent video guys, I wish I was there with you.

Just took delivery of a 2012 Wrangler last weekend, so it will be a while before I attempt anything like this. The new Pentastar motor is a definite improvement (on the road). Off road (lightly so far) it's about the same as my TJ 4.0.

  • @100silverpizza

Actually not stupid, I own a Jeep and don't do this kind of extreme off roading. So it's fun to watch these guys. Great entertainment.

  • Mow Bettea xD 5:18

  • @100silverpizza

Because buying a Jeep just to take the top off is the same thing as getting a hooker just to watch her strip.

  • @100silverpizza

Try $105 for a windsheild for a Jeep TJ. Installed. Resale Value on the Blue one currently is over 15k. "Its a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand".

  • the green light flashes. the flag goes up... shit i forgot the rest

  • @AlxJ64 Do you specifically offroad in those?

  • @SneakerCentral

In the blue one yes, it is a trailer queen. The green one was daily driven for a while.

  • either of you have lockers?

  • @TheHockey38

Yes, both of them. The Blue one is locked F/R with an Aussie in the front (at the time) and a Detroit in the rear. The Green one has Rubicon 44s F/R with air lockers. Front kept unlocking because of ice in the air line. Stupid Air lockers.

  • Great vid man. i cant wait for snow

  • This video is so much fun to watch... NICE JOB!

  • I loved this video!! I watched it all the way.

  • Hay you had a earth quack todai im in the city I feilt it

  • I don't know what's going on.. We're gonna die!! xD LMFAO

  • What year are those good ole jeeps made in?

  • @dirtbikeaustin

    Green was a '99, Blue is a '97

  • what size lift and tire on the following jeep?

  • @ddriver22

35" KM2s, 4" Full Traction Long Arm lift, but with a bunch of custom tweaks made to the life. Rubicon D44s. The owner kept cutting KM2 sidewalls so he went to the Maxxis Radial Trepador and never had a problem again.

  • # 1 jeep wangler

  • where in virginia are you guys? i love jeepin in the snow :)

  • almost like trail blazing....fun stuff...the one with the anti roll over frt bumper is a hellova jeep....thanks for posting.....great ride guys, keep it up..

  • i only like this because of the beginning

  • the dog that will not stay in the back! funniest part. Great video gentlemen

  • What exhaust setup on the lead Jeep?

  • @rasnake123456789

Stock Header to stock down pipe, Walker high flow cat to a Banks Monster and then a turn down.

  • @AlxJ64 a buddy of mine replace his exhaust manifold with a Banks Header, did wonders for his 92 Wrangler.

  • YOU SHOULD'VE LABELED THE VID JEEP ORGASM HAHA IT WAS GREAT!!

  • I have a stock yj that has been setting in my garage for six years. I am sixteen and my parents are giving it to me. I took it out when it last snowed and it was freaking awsome. I had never seen such powre off road. Any suggestions on what i should do with lift size or tire size. I really enjoyed this video btw

  • @TheTWIMER88 depending on how you want to use it.. its all up to you and how much money you're willing to spend. if you want to use it as a daily driver and off road vehicle you can go with something like a 2.5 lift and 32 or 31 inch tires.. personally on my jeep i wanna do maybe a 3 or 3.5 in lift with 33" all terrain tires since i use it on road a lot. i think that set up looks good also

  • @TheTWIMER88 join an online jeep wrangler forum if you aren't in one already

  • i loled already at the intro xD nice driving

  • where at in va is this

  • where is this in va

  • what setups do you have on each jeep? lift and tire size?

  • @striker0383 See other reply for the green TJ. Blue TJ, is about 6" of lift, 38" maxxis Creepy Crawlers, '79 F-250 dana 44, HO72 rear (old school 14 bolt). Both have the 6cyl, Green one has NV3550, blue one SM465 4 speed. Lift on the blue jeep is entirely custom. 3 link with panhard front, and 4 link double triangulated in the rear. 2" x .500 DOM lowers w/ 2" x .250 uppers.

  • what year is the lead one

  • @baxter950 1997 w/ a 4.0L, SM465 4 speed, and KluneV / Bronco Dana 20 combo.

  • @AlxJ64 so on the second jeep.....what size tires do you have on it? How much lift? and did you do anything to the fenders???

    and btw.....great video

  • @bcronce16

2nd Jeep was an '00 6 cyl 5 speed, 35" KM2s, but went to Maxxis Trepadors after cutting the sidewalls on the KM2s. Rubicon front and rear axles with 4.88s, Rubicon case, long arm kit was a hybrid from a Full Traction and Rubicon express 5.5 and 6". Custom built more or less using the RE arms and FT belly skid.

  • @AlxJ64 the jeep that doesnt have the fenders cut?

  • @AlxJ64 was the jeep in front can go threw anything!! jeep for life!! XD

  • this is a good video. number 1 part about it is NO MUSIC. fuck i hate when people ruin their videos with music

  • whats the camera man driving??

  • When I saw the house at the end, I was like WHAT? People live there? Where is the helicopter pad? :)

  • nice man

  • i wish it snowed like this in cali.

  • theres just so much good about this video. theres no music, just the sound of the engine, theres fun times being had, smart driving, and just overall a good time.

  • I have a Jeep Wrangler Yj, but I never gone to the Snow, great video...........

  • fuckin sick

  • that trail looks awesome.

  • I wont even lie..that looks like fun.

  • so you do it for the weigh issue ? ok . i dont have a lifted Jeep so ive never had to deal with that . i almost had one but it got bought up before i could test drive it . the one i have now i think im gonna keep for a while so maybe i will lift it . winch is 1st priority though . i have a video of the underside of the Jeep i have now . i put it on its side cause im a dumb azz sometimes

  • where is the spare on the lead Jeep , gosh dang it . i hate seein that . or the Jeep with a stock spare and over sized tires

  • @schopy1972

The spare is strapped to the deck of the goosneck trailer that the Jeep rode in on. A full size 38" spare on a full beadlock tire is a heavy thing to carry around. Aside from an extensive gaping hole in the sidewall, most leaks can be limped on via onboard air until the spare is reached. Also, with full beadlocks, the flat isn't going to come off of the wheel. I've run those trails from the furthest point from camp all the way back out with a flat front tire.

  • what happened to your window at the ending?

  • Thumbs up if these look like dudes you would want to go riding with.

  • dude that looks so fun.

  • Man, the videos NEVER do it justice. Great times I Love my Jeep!

  • Beastin ass jeeps guys nice vid

  • wll you have a new video soon?

  • Yep I'm buyin' one now.

  • We were wondering the same thing. We're around Fredericksburg too. You know any other trails in the area? Tried to ask people on NoVa Jeepers, but nobody knew. Thanks!

  • Hunters use this property all hunting season but its ours during the off season. Its outside of Fredericksburg.

  • where in virginia are yall? me and 3 of my buddies have wranglers all with 33's and use to go wheeling on some local trails but the county started leasing them out to hunters.

  • did the first jeep just cut his fenders off? thats what i wanna do when i get a wrangler

  • @MWHchevy

Yep, I just took a Sawzall to them and had every intention of building new ones, but the trails I run and the flex the suspension has, it has worked out great just the way they are.

  • GOOD vid

  • engines turning, thumping in time...uhh i forgot the rest..haha

  • Only other thing I can think it could be is your spring seat on the axle end. Mine was for certain the hood latch squeeking. It started doing it again last weekend in Uwharrie but it was because the rubber insulater had come loose because of the zip tie breaking. Only other squeek I get from mine comes from the heims in the steering. Does your suspension lift use heim joints? Maybe in the trac bar or lower links?

  • @AlxJ64 Im not sure of what kind of lift, because its completley stock. My steering wheel wines like the green one does when you turn it. Ill finger it out one of these days! Thanks for the suggestions.

  • @AlxJ64 it is the hood latch mine does the same thing. i replaced 3-4 u joints chasing that noise.

  • At 2:15 on your vid, the blue jeep squeak when you go up the hill is what i have all the time as long as my Jeep is moving. My Jeep doesnt have to be doing anything off road, it will still squeak even on the streets. Any ideas. I tried the hood latch, and thats not it, at least i dont think so.

  • WOOOO virginia and jeeps <3

  • Hey man, ive got a 1999 sahara and the squeak that you have, i have as well. Do you have any idea of what the squeak is. I cant find that squeak for the life of me. Please let me know. I have went over every single bolt, nut and have had two different shops look at it. I have stock lift with pro comp shocks, 33/12.50/16 4.0L.

  • @GROD2020

If you are talking about that high pitched squeek on the blue Jeep when it gets hopping then see below. If its the other squeek from inside the green Jeep, its the steering wheel bushing.

I found it on mine. Its the hood latch safety catch. To fix it I took a piece of bike inner tube and zip tied it to the inside of the grill where the lever catches so that there is something rubber between the catch and the grill. Simple fix.

  • This is a really fun, well made video. You guys should do more of this stuff. Seriously. It's so unlike the BS 15 second stuff typically done.

  • 0:01 shake it like its a salt shaker...

  • PMSL, The Dog that will not stay in the back. I know that feeling lol. class

  • you never see any off road snow footage

  • i got a 98 jeep wrangler 6" suspension lift 2" body lift its on 44" super swampers new airfilter and am having it super charged

  • the guy at the start of tthe video is the best part

  • nice video. looks like something im doing this winter

  • Hahaah that looks like Sooo much fun, I wana do that one it starts snowing up in ca! Cept it looks kinda sketchy when you almost get stuck a few times ha

  • That blue one in the front looks cool!!!

  • where do you have your cb mounted

  • @raybob212

Zip tied to my sport cage overhead so that I can pull it down quickly if I want or need it out of the way.

  • wheres this at in va. i live around harrisonburg area in va

  • @midnite141

    Private Farm near Fredericksburg.

  • engines turning and thumping in time.... i forget the rest of the song. hahahah that was the best part

  • i love the beginning you got that from the blair witch project epic

  • @DuBois994 Thanks. My friend had the camera and he is always funny and actually takes really good video footage.

  • What are the specs. on the Brown/Green Jeep, like axles, lift, tires,ect....

  • @natessuperbike

Its an '00 TJ on Rubicon axles, Chromoly shafts front and rear. The owner has a hybrid Full traction 6" lift. I think he is running RE 4.5 springs but has the links and belly skid from a 6" Full traction lift. He had a local hot rod shop (Flatlanders in Norfolk Virginia) build a set of lower links and modify the 3 link truss to work for his application. In the video he had 35" BFG KM2s but had too many issues with sidewall failures and is now running 35" Maxxis Trepadors.

  • 10/10

  • 10/10

  • what are the specs on the light blue jeep in front as in axels, lift & tires etc.....

  • @hco1588 F-250 High Pinion Dana 44 front Cryo treated 5.14s, cryo treated aussie locker, and Alloy shafts. C-30 SRW Eaton HO72 rear w/ 5.14s and a Detroit, disc brake conversion. 4.0L with some head work. Trans is an SM465 Muncie 4 Speed w/ 6.55:1 Low gear. Klune Goliath / Bronco Dana 20 doubled transfer cases. 225:1 final crawl ratio. 38” Maxxis Creepy crawlers on DIY beadlocks. Suspension is long armed a double triangulated rear 4 link and panhard 3 link front w/ 2” x .500” Chromo links.

  • @AlxJ64 Sounds very similar to my Jeep

  • where at in va?

  • @DwnNvr Private property near Fredericksburg. Its family owned farm land.

  • @AlxJ64 Oh ok. I live in Franklin county. They have some nice places around here to go off road.

  • god i would like to have one but they drink so much gas

  • Ah where I live that would be a little flurry. Nice video though!

  • where is this

  • Great video :D

  • nice to know my jeep isnt the only one with a squeaky steering column.

  • Awesome vid. Whereabouts in Va were you?

  • Yeah, really! Everybody else seems to think you can't have a wheeling vid without Metallica blasting over the engine noise.

  • @kevin108 Some of my other videos have music to them and I try to avoid more commonly used songs like Metallica and Guns and Roses. Actually most of them the music doesn't even go along with them. This snow trip was a blast though.

  • Great video, loved that you guys didn't add any crappy music. We bought our first Wrangler in November, wish we would of bought a junker so we can hit trails like you guys. I don't want to damage it. lol

  • haha same, I love pushing my rubi hard, but I want it to still look pretty XD

  • loved it!

  • I enjoyed the video....was very soft snow
