I've had my Xbox for 4 years, I see no need for another console. They both do the same thing. There are MINOR differences between the 2, but I look at the main objective for both consoles: to allow me to play video games. I have the Xbox 360 this time around and might purchase the PS4 next generation. Then back to Xbox the generation after. Swapping consoles with every new installment. Fuck the Wii, probably won't be buying anything from them. Fuck motion controls too.
really ps3? If this guy would have waited for the xbox slim to come out, ps3 would have had maybe 3 wins. PS3 does't do anything. They get their networked hacked so that some random 17 year old can have everyones credit card numbers, they copied the wii with move, they use basically a ps1 control, ps3 updates take forever. Xbox has kinect. Xbox slim has wifi, it looks better, its the same price with kinect, better hardware, short updates. The only good thing on ps3 is blu-ray.

While the PS3 has much better exclusives, and comes with much better hardware and options, it's lack of community tools (voice chat out of game, parties, voice messaging) break the deal for me. In this day and age having sub par voice chat, a weak online service and no party system is unforgiveable. I have both systems, but ultimately prefer the 360 and play it far more often because simply put Xbox Live completely dominates PSN.

@CrowbarOfJustice - I disagree, Kinect is FAR more beneficial to gaming (for all genres) than you're suggesting, and hence I believe next month's E3 will prove many critics wrong (for both Kinect and Move). Both products have only recently launched, they haven't even reached their first E3 as yet, so we've only seen a mere fraction of what devs are doing with this technology. Hence it's far too early to assume we've seen all they have to offer gaming. Let's wait and see what happens. :-)

This video nails it. While the PS3 has much better exclusives, and comes with much better hardware and options, it's lack of community tools (voice chat out of game, parties, voice messaging) break the deal for me. In this day and age having sub par voice chat, a weak online service and no party system is unforgiveable. I have both systems, but ultimately prefer the 360 and play it far more often because simply put Xbox Live completely dominates PSN.

Listen up kids, PS3 and XBox are just cheap gaming solutions for the masses. PC is always the best choice for FPSs and strategy games.
- FPSs on PC get customizable dedicated servers, which the network quality of consoles can't compare to.
- PCs can be upgraded with the latest technology, offering better performance and graphics. Consoles are years behind.
- Keyboard/mouse controls offer much more maneuverability, giving more depth to strategy and a more immersive experience.

@CrowbarOfJustice - I disagree, Kinect is FAR more beneficial to gaming (for all genres) than you're suggesting, and hence I believe next month's E3 will prove many critics wrong (for both Kinect and Move). Both products have only recently launched, they haven't even reached their first E3 as yet, so we've only seen a mere fraction of what devs are doing with this technology. Hence it's far too early to assume we've seen all they have to offer gaming. Let's wait and see what happens. :-)
