  • Lol, fail comments? You were expecting a giant robot to actually be destroying Tokyo?? IS THIS REMOTE CONTROLLED?? Looks sweet.

  • It's a toy in front of a window

  • Say what you will about cheap Japanese toys, but the movements are fluidic and the articulation precise; *and* it's got great balance no matter how fast it's moving.

For being a child's toy, this Tutsujin 28 is *extremely* good.

  • @jamalshookup It's actually on a stand. and it's no children's toy.

  • LOL LOL LOL. Its in front of a window :(

  • Seems legit

  • Gigantor would kick Optimus Primes butt! Especially that bullshit Optimus Prime from the latest movies. The real Optimus Prime from the original cartoons might have a better chance of surviving an altercation with Gigantor. lol

  • It took me a while to realize that that thing isn't in the street its on a desk or something lol

  • man,why can't America have shit this cool. We need a Giant Optimus Prime in New York or something.

  • i swear tokyo is the master of all electronics THEY EVEN MADE THE KINECT!

  • fail, robot is not outside, you can see the reflection of the robot by the window

  • big o for sure!!!!! dude's beast mode.

  • It's a window. You can see the reflection just right above him. And it sounds like it's in a room or office.

  • oh shit, i knew i left it in tokyo...

  • Dont mess with Gigantor buddy!

  • Muy bueno, genial!

  • its a window or somthing lol....but it realy dose look like hes a big robot in the city....nice job

  • hahhaah you had me i was like oh shyeah right hahahah its a toy.lololol good one

  • GODZILLA IS COMMING !!!!!

  • The reflection on the mirror behind it DID NOT prove this is a fake...

Gigantor...is still out there destroying Tokyo...

But anyway, that "toy" seems awesome. I love how he moves and stuff.

  • Giant Robots, Monsters..... girls in sailor suits.... this is why I won't go to Japan.

  • @crispycritterz Dude thats my reason to go.

  • that statue is 7 inches tall

  • You filmed this from a window in a Hotel room. I see your reflection...

  • @indianajoneszilla naaaaaaaaaaaa, you dont say

  • Hey, I want that ironman 28!!

  • i wonder why there's a big sheet of glass covering Tokyo?.... oooh no its the the window -.-

  • lol its on the ledge of a biding

  • Good camera trick man! I actually had to look at it for a sec to see that its just some dude filming a Gigantor toy up close in front of their window above the square.

  • @leonautumn

nice catch...I teach video and missed it completely until your post.

  • Sure beats that stupid faggy honda robot.

  • Window views of Osaka

    It is not Tokyo

  • if dont was for the existance of gigantor all the mech i love, dont will exist, thanls for exist gigantor XD

  • so wheres godzilla when you need him??

  • yeah gigantor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know him

  • it,s a small robot infront of the window stupid video

  • @MikeNOsnitch sherlock

  • okay.....?

  • Gigantor vs. Big-O who would win? o.o

  • @japanessmonsterfan A Gundam, of course.

  • @japanessmonsterfan i have my bets on big O

  • gigantor pwns

  • I think tokyo should be well prepared for giant monster or robot attacks by now...

  • There is also Astroganger (1972), which aired slightly before Mazinger Z, it was a "living robot" with no pilot, but a human "host" (the children Kantaro, Charlie in the Italian edition). The series was also aired in the Arab speaking countries.

  • I've heard of Atstroganger. Supposedly he was the first sentient giant robot to be introduced in the anime mecha genre.

  • Yes, I'm sorry it's never been dubbed in English. It's a series which I have seen around 1979 as a kid, and it has a unique fascination, different from the super-robots concept later explored by Nagai. You find some episode in other languages on Youtube, but they are bad quality.

  • is that a window reflection i see behind the robot?

  • yup! but it was a good optical illusion.

  • black ox is better

  • You guys are nerds.... Just kidding. I love gigantor/tetsujin 28.

  • DAMN! I want that toy!!

  • too bad its 3,000 dollars

  • lmao, for a second i was almost fooled by the illusion

  • that is so fake

  • in few years these robots will be watching us on youtube instead of humans watching them now lol.

  • Kool as a cucumber - still the greatest robot on the planet! Gigantor rules.

What a great robot, great actions!

You have to have been brought up on it to understand!

  • That robot is fat

  • um coolest thing ever where do i get one of them????? seriously??

  • yeah you don't know much about animation. There probably wouldn't be a Optimus Prime without Getsujin 28 (Gigantor.)

  • True!! But it does not change the fact that gIgAnToR is weak and out dated. By the way, I know much about aNiMaTiOn!! I love Voltron, but damn he 2 is out dated. But he'll still kick gIgAnToR's ass!!

  • Well, you do have a point about Gigantor being weak. I mean compared to robots like Mazinger or Voltron, Gigantor is really just a big joke. If there was ever a match between Gigantor and Voltron, I bet Voltron would slice Gigantor in half with no problem. But I'm in no position to compare Gigantor to his successors. After all, it was Gigantor who gave birth to the giant robot genre. Therefore, he deserves my respect.

  • True. Gigantor (AKA Tetsujin 28) is the grandfather of all the giant robots known to this day. He came before Mazinger Z, Optimus Prime, Voltron, ect. Without him, all those other guys probably wouldn't exist.

  • I don't agree!! Godzilla did not spawn King Kong!! king Kong would have come any way. But Godzilla started the giant monster movies.

  • Okay. If you say so.

  • After all. It's like if one said that Bazooka Joe paved the way for G.I. Joe. When we all know it was WW2 that did that.

  • you are correct!

  • Correct? About what?

  • oh, correct about your opinion with regards to the Gigantor beingthe father of most of the giabt mecha that we see today: Voltron, Optimus Prime, and such like

  • i thought mazinger z was considered the first because he had an actual pilot

  • Man if it would to more stuff it would kick robosapiens ass.... I wonder if someone could get both of them together and actually have them fight?

  • he try to fligh but no fucking back fire!!

  • he must be drunk!

  • I want that Gigantor toy for Christmas!but yeah it was fake because you could see his reflection from the window

  • so cute :D

  • This is so lame - kept waiting but sweet fa happens

  • LOL, its an optical illusion!

  • THAT THING IS SWEET!!! It moves around and evorything!

  • That's not a reflection on a window! Doubters! That's Gigantor casting his mighty shadow on the pitiful streets below him. Gigantor is real!

  • It's made by an outfit in Japan that made a base robot frame and every year puts out a new body set for it. It's cool but very pricey at over $600.

  • yeh... u just put it in front of a window...

  • i want one!

  • you can obviously see that its a toy on a window ledge, its a really cool toy though, where did ya get it?

  • awsome can it fly

    {dumb question that might damage it}

  • it is one cool toy.

  • i mean its standin by the window

  • its fake....it standin window

  • That's an effect??

  • does he fight in the Robo-One tournaments??

  • Holy snot!! =O

    *runs away*

  • Very nice! It took me a few seconds to realise what this is.. nice effect ;)
