@maxsteelee Why do you think its the dominant postion in MMA? On top you can throw punches to finish and on bottom you can submit, seems pretty even to me.
@Snoochy2006 if this was MMA, barnett would have won due to top position, and he could land more strikes, couldve opened this guy up. he couldnt get any submissions on barnett. if you think guard is perfectly even in MMA against someone near your skill level, then you havent done any matches or sparred mma. you get your face and torso beat on if a good striker and grappler is in your guard
@Snoochy2006 its not even,top is king in mma,its far easier to defend subs with posture and strike than it is to sub from guard which is hardly ever seen in elite mma anymore
Muzio is the best referee ever... I prefer have a good guard like Bruno, that this desesperated atemp of pass...
Rules are the rules... I saw one or two advantage from Josh and just one from Bruno... One a gain, i prefer have a goog guard like this.
