I highly recommend watching Netflix "Street Safe" DVD because there are some real important things to learn based on what I see here. Actually turning to the side can present a more prime target and leave you somewhat defenseless. There are some real flaws in this training I would urge you to reexamine. Also once someone is ON you with a knife coming down you can really mess up stepping back or exposing your gun too soon. This is way too late to be screaming stop.
