I still can't believe that Taylor Swift's simple, average vocal of "White Horse" beat out Carrie's enormous, strong, emotional vocal of "Just a Dream" in 2010. Ridiculous pity votes, but I guess the past can't rewrite itself.

show and I guess the people only come when they are giving out the awards in your category

They have so many awards to give out that only the major ones are given in primetime televised slots - the rest are given out in the afternoon and it looks like the country category was the last and nominees from other genres have already left - usually one or two country awards will get primetime airing like maybe album of the year

coz the grammies give out like 110 awards every year and the only awards they give out in the televised show are the big 4 and one category each for the big genres. so i guess the nominees for the other stuff leave the room for the actual show when their categories are announced and we're left with a bunch of losers
