Wow, Miss Jane Adams the original Vicki Vale 40 years before Alicia Sliverstone played the role of her in Tim Burton's own take of the caped crusader, she was so cute in that outfit, her voice is lovely and I found her hot.
I just noticed, despite having seen this a number of times, that while Robin is in his costume when he phones Alfred to get rid of Vicki, he's changed back into his regular clothes by the time Bruce goes down into the Batcave...just to change back into his Robin costume again. LOL :)
I always thought Batman and Robin reminded me of the French serials "Judex" (1914/1916). Similiar story, rich guy fights evil in a mask with a side kick and he keeps the bad guys in his basement/ underground cavern (its been a few years since I have seen it lol)
Why is Wayne's home filmed at such an odd angle - like they're struggling not to show what's next door? The house looks like it could be one of the homes on the Universal lot. It would be interesting to know where it's actually located. If it's one of the Universal homes, it probably wouldn't be tough to spot in other productions.
Besides the 1966 series and the 1989 movie, this was among my favorite incarnation of Batman. I feel this is the most realistic. It was a good mystery story as viewers tried to guess who the wizard was. The Robin of the 1949 serials is still alive.
Mr. Hyde, thanks for posting. I've seen the earlier serial and didn't care for it. So far this one is far superior. Great quality as well. Whoever restored the print did an outstanding job. Thanks again for the great post!
@Bondfinesse it's great isn't it?:) i'm a big batman fan to and i think this show was way better than the one from the 60s although i love that one to;)

At least, this is better than the 66' Batman. The music is more polar and dark. The black and white helps to keep some ambience.
But compare to Mask of the Phantasm, Batman Returns or The Dark Knight, it just sucks ^^
