What a mess! I was in the parade with the Campit Saugatuck float. And the police and security were nothing but friendly. Of course our group didn't even leave Chicago until 7:30 and the streets were jammed with cars. We heard one traffic cop say that they were not clearing out pride due to the mass numbers of people that turned out, over 500,000. But, you also have to add to that , the thousands that were still at taste of Chicago. Up over 1 million people were on the streets.
