I thoroughly enjoyed this animation on crtic.co.cc. the animation was very gripping and suspenseful. This is not to say that it was a perfect animation, but it was very good in general. Definitely should see it if you're into action, but not gory, animations.

I used to feel sorry for the girl squirrel. Now I see that not only did Arthur make his feelings (or lack of) for her known but he also told her that he wasn't even a squirrel! She isn't in love with Arthur or she would've listened. When he turned huiman again he was nice to her (not aggresive or mean like merlin, justifiably, does by barking). She rejected him and guilt-tripped him for being his true self! I don't know how Arthur kept his temper with her thoughtless shinanigans!

I saw scenes from this film repeatedly during inside recess back in elementary school, now decades in the past. I didn't understand the Arthurian context, and didn't remember them as coming from that cycle of stories. But they apparently were powerfully etched in my mind, because for years I would have dreams of these fantastic metamorphoses in a sylvan setting...and never knew where they came from until recently. Now's that good filmmaking. Thanks, Disney.

I don't have anything against the American accent personally, but it would have been better and more fitting if Arthur had an English accent, like Taran did in The Black Cauldron. Arthur's voice just sounds annoying and when was he ever retarded?? If I recall, Arthur was smart and brave and an encouraging leader. Walt made a bad move here. Just because it's Disney doesn't mean you have to change everything. Sheesh. But I remember laughing at this scene. 1:04, so funny!

I think that Girl squirrel is one of the best female apparitions in Walt Disney movie, you'll never see a more lovely, romantic or strong female as she is, also she's one of the best animal appearances.

For some reason, "The Sword in the Stone" is one of the very few Disney movies (if not the only one) that I had never seen until recently. I thought it would be very similar in style and for the kind of story to "The Black Cauldron"... Boy, was I wrong. It's pretty hilarious, though. Especially this part!

Poor Arthur, she just won't leave him alone! I've known people that were like that....it starts out kinda funny but quickly turns to annoying and infuriating, and then finally it gets to be really sad and pathetic. Man some people just can't take a hint and when you finally decide to just tell them how you feel they turn all psycho or starting crying and crap like that. Ah well....such is life I suppose.
