@Crylon100 He did do that at first but failed. That was is first major defeat Operation Sea Lion. England gained so much morale after that. He could have beat the Soviets if he attacked at the beginning of spring but he attacked in summer then it turned to winter rather quickly. Therefore the Soviets turned the German offense. If he would've captured Soviet Russia then he would eventually capture Britian and then maybe the U.S.

@Crylon100 you know I would have done exactly the same tactic if hitler had invaded the UK I am pretty certain the home guard would have delayed the main invasion for about a month at the most but ultimately Hitler could of took Britain anytime he wanted if only he had listened to his generals and not shouted traitors at them. as for the isulting america part well its only banter innit :P

@Crylon100 He did do that at first but failed. That was is first major defeat Operation Sea Lion. England gained so much morale after that. He could have beat the Soviets if he attacked at the beginning of spring but he attacked in summer then it turned to winter rather quickly. Therefore the Soviets turned the German offense. If he would've captured Soviet Russia then he would eventually capture Britian and then maybe the U.S.

And as for ww2 you did save our arses but i always wonder how it would of played out if pearl harbour never happened would you still have entered the war ?

@Drpissed yes i know that our history doesnt go back as far as yours but those were dark times where people got their hands chopped off for stealing a loaf of bread to feed their families. as for that saddam bit. i dont care if freaking sharks with laser beams attached to their heads got him because, hes still gone and thats all that matters. i think if we would have waited longer for hitler we might not have won. but we started cleaning house when the US stepped in. (we as in the allies :D)

@Drpissed oh but ithink you guys did a good job holding him off too. the soviets didnt get enough credit and we got all the credit for D-Day but the soviets held off at stalingrad good. the orders were if you retreat you get shot. they had snipers waiting in the back and if any of the soldiers retreated they got killed by their own sniper. the casualties were in the hundreds of thousands.

@RatedRSuperstarRox73 I'm saying that Germany would have won if they would have captured the Soviet Union, but the winter made them surrender to the Soviets at Stalingrad. My point here is that the German's skill easily beat the Soviet's numbers in battle before winter. Hitler almost conquered the Soviet Union. If America went to war with China, then the same thing would happen except there would be nothing to stop the Americans. Their air force and navy suck.

@amitnayna01 No, it was not the winter that made them retreat, it was the fact that Hitler jumped the gun and attacked the Soviet Union with out comming to relize that the United States was just around the corner to join in the war. Even then at the time the United States was not even close to being a major power. No one was able to foresee that the United States woulod grow into an industralized nation in such a short period of time, much less develope a first-rate armed forces.

That and most of the civilized world-North America and Europe-would be against the Chinease in the event of a war.

The media makes them sound and look stronger than they really are. If they did have a strong army then they would have used it a long time ago.
