there is a new recording of this version on placebos youtube page. and its not the same. it makes me miss old steve. cos new steves drumming is too much- old steves style fitted placebo much better, so much more controlled and understated

I think the new drummer is very good (and he's from my area of the world which makes me proud), but the "old Steve" had a style that really complimented placebo's music and the emotions the band puts across. That being said, I understand why they had to change and it does seem like they are all having a good time, which is good.

@lennoshane i agree and disagree, i think the new steve has given them a cool new sound, battle for the sun is a brilliant album, most likely one of their most creative. Teenage Angst might not be the same but slower versions of meds and blind are enhanced by the new steves input. long live placebo and all of their fans!

I think that almost every fan of their music can say the same thing; I know I can. I found out about them from two ex friends about three years ago. Since then I lost both. One died, and the other banished me from his memories because I was unfaithful. It hurts, because a lot of the songs remind me of our relationships, too.
