@Tyrant9 The general argument is that Luffy is too stupid to realise. Maybe after the time-skip he'll get a little more intelligence, or if and when he finds One Piece, he might return to Boa. They did the same with Goku in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, after the (sort of) time-skip he finally takes an interest in women.

There are a lot of moments that exist solely for entertainment, such as Luffy getting a nosebleed in Arabasta when Nami does the "chiawase punch", or when Bon Clay changes his body to look like Nami's. Luffy is too much of an airhead to understand the female body, lol. Point proven when Boa takes off her top, turns, and exposes her back to him while he just stares blankly.

@XXwqaXX The whole anime is in slow march, this scene was funnier in the manga because there was no second "Jiiiiinbei", although it was also funny the whole thing was so slow that it lost its sense.

There was some times where the slowness was good like Whitebeard & Jozu vs Aokiji, i consider that one of the best scenes of the entire anime.

@venomousstring ya i think the anime production crew are trying to have the anime and manga separated by at least one full arc which is y its been painfully slow but i am glad we get episodes of the crew's flashback adding that much character development to the series

btw if any1 knows but is oda apart of the anime production team i remember reading a comment on youtube that he was but i never got around to verifying that so does any1 kno for sure if thats true
