Last years PvP > This years PvP. It's fucking nothing compared to earlier PvP, most 3s (even at this level) end within 3 minutes. 20 minute final is EPIC!

RMP is nearly non-existant in today's arena, FMP is pretty popular, but ferals have bad openers. TSG was overpowered in S7, hunters were stupid dumb S5-S6, dont even get me started on Dk's in S5. There will always be overpowered comps/classes in arena, but I mean it when I say you have no idea how bad season 8 was (unless of course, you were a caster).

@TrueWan07 My main point is not the unbalanced aspects of small-scale pvp such as arena. Just the stupid ammounts of burst, interupts and CC (!). The CC and ammount of interupts that's in the game now has to call for less bursty PvP gameplay, either that or the whole pvp CC/interupt system needs a revamp. If you come across an MLS, even a damn soft silence can finish off one of you if they get their burst set up right on a target with lack of defensive CDs

@TrueWan07 Going on.. Wotlk PvP. Not balanced, but the fook more interesting to both play and watch with 2 solid setups in 3s. The fact that the pvp damage, healing and CC nowadays are way too agressive, is nothing to argue about. And about season 8, I weren't extremely active due to other events taking up much of my time. Fine, forget about the comparison to late wotlk pvp, compare it to "older" pvp. Less burst, longer fights, harder to set up proper CC. Most (not all) I play with, agree that -

@TrueWan07 I never QUIT. I didn't play hard, that's all. Honestly just watch battle.net invitational 3s vs last years blizzcon 3s. The burstyness is higher, and there's also shitloads of more CC brought in, aswell as both old and new interupts beeing available for all or several specs than before. I don't give a damn shit about the balance, that's not the general topic of this discussion. The topic beeing how pvp is, even while playing the seasonal flavor comp.

@troublemakerX2 Wotlk pvp needs more skill than cata, mages needed to time their water ele cooldown, warlocks didnt have instant pet rez so they had to watch their pets health, warlocks had to fakecast fear to kill the tremor totem that comes etc. A LOT of things that needed skill to use got removed in cata.

I think its stupid that they reviewed this and changed the ruling. Cause the warlock was alive at the 20min mark, they gave aAa the win and had to go to a game 5, which aAa won. Basically CoL Red got screwed out of 1st place.
