  • Amazing I am starting to hear where the Andantes come in outside of the girls singing. All the time for many years I always thought it was Mary and Florence on many of their songs. Well I keep learning something new everyday.

  • This is where the Supremes knock all the other girl groups out of the way. They just had the magic when all three of them blend so well. I love this song.

  • omg i adore this song thanks hon

  • You can't buy harmony like this today. You had to be able to SANG back in the day!!! Good job girls!

  • I have to agree with you on the harmonizing. The Supremes were their best at the three part harmony. Each girl knew her place and they were distinctive behind Mary Wells or Marvin Gaye. They had their own sound. It's too bad that cross over success took them away from what they did best. They had it!

  • When Diana,Florence and Mary harmonize, it is simply angelic. Thanks for posting.

  • So soulful brings joy to my heart, body, and soul. Thank you so much for posting, my friend.~Phurdrick

  • most of all this is what music is all about... great post! Missu/One

  • that was really nice!

  • Loved the girls' harmonizing on this . . . just wonderful.

  • There is NOTHING like the three-part harmonies of Diana, Florence and Mary. Three lead singers and they harmonize like no other group ever. Always loved this cut. Thank you for posting this.

  • I love the country western and pop album

this song is really like sunset

I love it the harmonies are really perfect flo and diana did a nice lead

    I can't hear Mary =/ it's a bit sad.

I stereo enhaced this song a few month ago I think it sounded good =)

thx for posting this nice song

    5*

  • No Problem.

  • thx rodney =)

  • @Individuell83 Hi. i can hear Mary. Remember she is the lower register, so its harder to stand out when Flo and Diana are holding those high notes but if you concentrate on the bottom harmony you will hear it. it almost sounds like a male-like or baritone rather type of voice.

  • @kingnando yes you can if you listen carefully :D

  • @Individuell83 how can you not hear Mary? especially at the very start of the song. It's easy to get distracted with the "battle" of the high notes btwn Flo and Diana, but Mary is right there and you can hear her well effortlessly.

  • @kingnando yes you can hear

however the comment is about 2 years ago now...

I didn't even had good headphones back at that time

    only a cheap mono laptop-loudspeaker

however diane and mary are waaaay louder

  • @Individuell83 U mean Flo boo. Yes , but then again in my opinion it is always easier for the soprano to showcase her talents more distinctly than the alto, unless the song calls for a lower tone such as in "BECAUSE" where Mary totally smokes Di and Flo. That song is just pure Mary's territory just like Mr. Blues. Both songs btw are simply great and Mary standsout.

  • Woooo!! Mary, Florence and Diana is saaaaaanggggging!! Esp. at the bridge!! Flo is killing it!! And Mary sounds especially good!!!!
