These cops are following the buses with tourists sometimes. When they jumping all over road and roaring "keep right and clear the way!!!" all drivers in Irkutsk hates'em so much. These Mercedeses are especially tuned for road chases and has incredible HP - that what about it jumps.

this is a Ford Focus, russian-built. it is a traffic police, they are supposed to make way for the bus in which the camera is. that's what these officers do exactly, they move other cars from the road

Actually GAZ-24 is from 1972 model year. In 1980 it was 80s-looking GAZ-3102. KGB V8 chasers also adopted 3102 chassis in 80s. Now it is 8th generation of Volgas or GAZ-31105. It has classic GAZ exterior with some korean accent, nice european interior and MOPAR powertrain. And it is about to quit next year cause old commies who loved full-size native cars are died or too old to drive now. 2010 Volga is a mid-size and based on a Chrysler Sebring.
