The Only Problem I had with this Great Music was wearing out my Eight Track Tapes So when they Revolutioanalized to the Casset I jumped in but again I would Wear those out also and with my Vynol oh forehead slap ............Now I have IPOD Yeah the Universe is as Should be....
Listen to this song when you have lost focus..... it will get you back on track..... times can be hard everybody knows that... we need to reset every once in a while
This song is the only thing that my oldest brother and I have in common ( he's 10 years older than me) we're a total generation apart until this song comes on! This will always be one of my favs!
ELO was so good to me back in the 70s when I was a lonely boy with no friends. But I survived the mean projects of chicago. I loved all music but others couldn't understand so fuck em. I played my Boston, Rush, Lynurd Skynurd (those racist fucks, but they made some great music) and countless others. That music helped my during great depression. Thanks 70s rock, 70s r&b, and classical .
I am 13. I feel like the luckiest person because...my parents had me grow up listening to this stuff...I feel weird in school, wondering who the new stars are but I can't stop coming back to these! I was eight when my mom popped in her ELO CD in the car...Telephone line is one of the earliest songs that I truly LOVED...
same with me. the music I've been growing up with are the older stuff, and I turned 14 not long ago. people think I'm weird because I like the older stuff like Rick astley, Beatles, and The Cars.
@Alton753 Same here man! I'm 16, but when I was in Kindergarten my dad would always play Beatles, Zeppelin, ELO, the whole 9! And I like not knowing who the new "stars" are, because this is much better!
i'm only a year older than you, and i knew the 70's music is where it is at. i hear my sister listening to rap crap and feel like i should bust out my NES listening to some led zeppelin.
Jeff Lynne could tell a story through his music. Always loved this song. One of my all time favorites. 1977 I believe it was. My teen years where music hits you the hardest and makes the deepest impression.
I loved this group....

ELO, de goeie ouwe tijd dat er echte muziek werd gemaakt, het is voorbij...Zoals zo veel dingen voorgoed voorbij zijn.

I was riding in a car with my sister, when she popped ELO, in the cassette deck...I never heard them before...I wished we could drive forever.
