What's so weird about the controls? It's isometric but so what?

I think this is among the best games on the NES, and I wouldn't consider it that tough - relatively easy actually. The last level's a bit stupid, but otherwise I would actually maybe prefer this game if it was a bit more difficult.

I agree, it IS a great game, I just suck ass with isometric controls.

I wish they would've had an option for a more common control style, then they could've cranked the difficulty up as much as they wanted

When I was younger, I used to have this game.

This game, Super Circuit and the mario brothers series were my favorite games for the NES.

This game is a classic NES game.

Ah, the memories... It took me years to finally get around to beating this game, and it was worth it.

Also, the controls are easy to explain - it's just tilted 45 degrees. That'll throw you off for a while though, especially when you need to make tricky jumps.

This Games is teh Epicness so (*^^&%in hard though, I used to love this game as a kid even though I sucked at it( I still kinda do ) Kudo's to those who can finish it without savestates or on the original cartridge. Yes it is, you have to be attacking it constnatly, every time you stop attacking for a while its health 'regenerates'. ultimate ice foot.
