  • Actually mines a 93, mistype by me sorry x_X but im gonna chip it to give it 30 more bhp then later put in a 6 or 12lbs boost turbo to get it up near 260 - 280 wich will be nice enough for the money =)

  • I don't know, I never liked BMW. I got a E 500 Elegance T-model and tuning by AMG afterwards. You get the comfort of a Mercedes, and the performance of a Prosche GT 2. So you get 2 things at once: a brilliant racing machine, and a every-day-car. The only thing to do is changing the wheels if i go to the racing track on weekends. Best car I've beaten on the track was a Prosche GT 1. But I'm considering on selling it though, because i don't have the much time to spare coz of my job.

  • It's, as i've understood, built for the strip originally. and i guess this track day was to show off some cool cars and also do some marketing (hey! look! i can burn rubber forever! must mean i have a f-load of power!) it works on the kids.. however. that car ran low eights. and the engine is now running sevens but in an E36 chassie.

  • Ive seen this car in action, and its amazing. The engine is a 3.6l M5 engine, wich is drilled to some cc, it has a race turbo and everything. Amazing car. It was built for show, and drag! :)

    And i don´t think that there is any tyre that you can fit on a normal car that will handle 1100 + hp when you floor it. he is driving for show nothig else.

I had a Porsche 928 5 speed that was a bear to launch, rear end would pull out from under you, let off on the gas just a bit and the car would aim straight and fly. Okay, now I'm crying, I miss that car.

  • 960t6r, You're right...Two different engines were used in the E34 M5 models. Cars built before the end of 1991 had a 3535ce (3.6-litre) type with 315bhp at 6900rpm and 266lb ft at 4750rpm. Later examples had a 3795cc (3.8-litre) type with 340bhp and 295lb ft at the same engine speeds. This larger-capacity engine is also more flexible than the earlier type, and can deliver 75 per cent of its maximum torque (2 2 1 lb ft) at just 1 800rpm.But this car...crazy!

    And by the way, M5 is NEVER delivered with a V6..!! DORK

  • It must be a racing engine, the BMW engines are designed to be as light as possible and work best naturally aspirated. Turbos and superchargers are notorious for blowing up BMW engines. If by lots of engine mods you mean "new block" then yeah...
