  • Whatever happened to this guy?

  • I have this kind of series but I have 4 doors in low rider style. :P

    ปล. เรี่ยพื้นเลยล่ะตอนนี้ ขนาดไม่ได้แบกกล้วยนะ - -*

  • I had a 1986 Isuzu P'UP, and other than the fact that it folded in half one night while driving home (from extensive rust...their shitty ass designed box frames trapped debris and rusted from the inside out), it was a great little truck. Thank God it was a 4x4...I put it in 4 high and drove the piece of shit home....makeshift front wheel drive hahahaha.

  • I came here solely because of f guy lol

  • I'm Isuzu salesman in Thailand, Isuzu is the popular pickup truck in Thailand

  • @headman010 ตอนนี้ไม่ได้เป็นแล้วครับ หมดสัญญาจ้างงานแล้ว

  • About $6

  • These commercials were classics back then, I need to repost these for good laughs and to show kids today what kind of commercials we used to watch.

  • What are the English translations for the Hawaiian phrases he used at the beginning and end of the commercial?

  • in Thailand it's called a ISUZU Faster Z

  • Gosh Isuzu has got to be one of the most honest advertisers ever. LOL! I like when it says he's lying! And they show the prices in the commercial!

  • Joe Isuzu, Max Headroom, Valley girls, nerds, brat pack, big hair, preppies, yuppies, and rubicks cubes! The 80's was the time to be alive, glad I grew up then. The music ruled, and everything was just better in the 80's.

  • We used to get these in the UK but badged as Bedfords ( GMs commercial brand here). They were Bedford KBs. I had one ( an 86 diesel ) and drove two company ones over the years. They were very reliable and very economical 40-50mpg. All of the UK 2wd ones were 5-speed on the column. I am curious , all the ones Ive seen on youtube have floor shifters? Dindnt the US ones ever come with column shifters? Ive never seen one with a floor shifter ( except the 4wd ).UK ones were right hand drive of course

  • @bigwoolleypenguin

I'm guessing column shifters don't sell very well here, and people here prefer the floor shift. I do myself, never driven a COLUMN SHIFT. Probably the opposite in GB.

  • Why, I saved enough to buy this island... and all the fish.

    I *LOVE* IT!!!

  • or 500 pounds of bananas

  • They don't do that anymore because one person DID bring the 500 pounds of bananas to a dealership and when they refused to sell him a car for it, he sued for fraud, and won and got the car for the 500 pounds of bananas.

  • Total BS. The offer was not to buy the truck for 500 bananas, it was to get a rebate for 500 bananas, something any smart dealer would do in a heartbeat since bananas cost much less than a dollar per pound at the time.

Did you even watch the video before you made this up?

  • Do a little research before you post next time.

  • nerd

  • I got this Car :] Isuzu KB '87 ^^ But mine is black, and rusty, but I love it x) It's a fun car to drive, and there are jsut a couple of them here in Norway, as far as I know, but it is a fun car ^^ love it :]

  • i love weird talk

  • The thing I like about this truck is the name, "PUP". In my opinion, it's the silliest name for ANYTHING with 4 wheels!

  • the name isn't PUP, it's P'UP (note the apostrephy).

It's a shortened version of Pick UP.

But it does seem like a pretty stupid name, but consider that old nissan trucks were called Hardbody if they were regular cabs, and Toyota Tacomas are often called Tacos.

  • I know the name is PUP. Still, even with the apostrophy, it's still a silly (I don't think it's stupid) name. BTW, that Tacomas called tacos comment you brought up reminded me of how I couldn't pronouce the word tachometer. At first I thought it was taco-meter. HA HA HA!!!! If only there was such a thing as a taco-meter. LOL!!!

  • there is such a thing as a taco-meter, it's called a clock and it measures how long you're in the bathroom after eating at Taco Bell

  • HA HA HA HA!!!!! That's cool. I could use one of those if I'm at a Mexican restaurant or Taco Bell. Still, I LOVE Mexican food AND Taco Bell. Pardon me while I make a run for the border!

  • thats the same thing I like about the p'up too! and it had a DIESEL version! mmmmmm diesel.......

  • I just saw Joe on the Young & the Restless.

  • he sucks on it. (maybe i hate his character)

  • This is Tuck Bounds

  • LOL. I followed you from the Tucker Bounds video!

  • Joe Isuzu, my hero!!!

  • want a new isuzu pickup, go buy a chevy colorado of gmc canyon!

  • this was my uncles favorite commercial. Spen-un bow-ie, ee-ke bo bo

  • Remember when $6300 could by a new truck?

  • @TJOPootertoot i remember when a loaf of bread was only 5c !!
