if bigfoot does exsist. then to shoot one it would take a high powered rifle. with it being a 700 pound animal it would take more than a 30 30 caliber to take it down. other than that smaller weapons would just wound it. so why even shoot it? most hunters dont carry a 300 winchester when hunting. and to use a shot gun or a 22 is just a waist of time. and it would get infection and die some where else. so dont shoot tha bigfoots. just throw a rock back at them. lol

Have you heard of voice recognition? These are protected species. As you said it was walking away. Doesn't sound like you were in danger. So it begs the question why did you shoot?
