This was definitely a very energetic performance, but I think I like the one from Oprah a little more than I like this one. On the Oprah performance, she was more solid on the notes, and was better able to put more soul in her vocals. On this one, she seemed to be very excited and in the moment, so she couldn't really _sing. Not a bad thing though, it just happens sometimes.

I agree totally; Mariah's vocals on this one were not as "sweet" as the Oprah performance. Here, it seemed like she was so pumped and energized that she was in a way shouting the words; not a terrible thing, because it happens to everyone at some point. At least there was more substance in her voice than in _some recent performances though! She still got it though I believe contrarry to what others say; she was very stunning in Atlanta in 2006.
