everyone. thats a 125. look at the expansion chamber on the pipe, it has the bend of a 125 not a 250. plain and simple. its a 250f kit on a 125. i have a 250 front fender on my 125. they messed with the frame and welded some brackets and mounts in different places for a 250 tank. that can be done

It's not a 250F frame. It has the dimples on the side beam just up from the foot pegs. The newest YZ's have always had that same looking frame and those dimples. Plus, the frame doesn't look big enough to house a 250F engine. The very bottom part where it curves up (near the exhaust) is more of a smooth curve than a sharp one like on the 250F, making the space smaller.

Yamaha is the ONLY BRAND in NORTH AMERICA that still produces the 125 and 250 2 strokes but kawasaki KTM and many more companies still produce 2 strokes in other parts of the world. You can buy a 2011 BRAND NEW Yamaha YZ 125 off your local showroom floor for $6,250... if they're out of 2011's you can get a 2012 for $6,290..
