Two drum kits and bashing piano's back up this relatively unknown classic by the mad genius of pop, Daniel Johnston. Play this at my funeral and dance till it hurts.
Man, M. Ward just slays me... love it. And I love your drawings. I encourage everyone to know Ward's, and Daniel Johnston's, body of work. Really incredible artists, both of them. Thanks for posting! :)

What an incredible man daniel Johnston is. To think a talent so raw and god given being ignored by the masses. Makes me sad. But yea. nothing beats the original although this is a great version.
I dont find myself to be too much of an emotional person, I tend to bottle it up. but this song, at least put to these beautiful drawings really gets to me. thanks for helping me let it out a little.
Freaking love this song. I keep seeing M. Ward alongside other people live - wish he would tour solo more often as he is one of my favorites. Such a great crafter of songs.
Greatest song. Always gets me up when i'm down. Also, i really like your art style. I'm only in high school, but i see myself pursuing a career in art. (:
I had to restrain myself from flying into a violent rage for that comment. But people are entitled to their own opinion, no matter how much that opinion makes me want to shove that persons face into a industrial coffe grinder.
no reason one can't still act on such impulses. he gets his absurd opinion, and in return you get to turn MoreSkatersTomorrow into ignorant-flavoured hot drinks.
@Jordaniz3r couldn't help but laugh/reply. i one year ago, i was totally sincere (being from an artschool world), but i see what you mean about art schools and NY--did not mean to offend kelefeh.
what year is it???? remind me cause i need to know why using technology in modern music is a bad thing, it probly sounds a shit load better live than it would off of out dated recording equipment. johnny cash probly sounded nothing like his recordings. that "produced" sound your talking about, thats called good microphones and equipment

so is it "takes the skin right off my eye" or "takes the skin right off my hide"?
all the lyrics websites say it's hide but i like eye way more...

It's hide.
Makes a ton more sense.

idk dude. "takes the skin right off my eye" is like one of the most poetic descriptions of opening eyes i've ever heard.
how do you explain it if it's hide?
