  • Very true, I had the same experience, ruined a couple of pieces and was wondering why. Now I know, thanks much for the tip.

  • This is the most important tip I've ever seen disclosed. When I first started trimming laminate, my bit, particularly the bearing would always burn/remove the finish of the laminate. How frustrating! I went to a laminate shop and asked what's the trick? The mechanic pulled out a tub of vaseliene and said with out a lubricant you'll burn the finish. He was right and it solved my problem.
