if you do this your self try do one section on the side weave the color in and place in on a foil and fold it up for 45 minutes then wash it out carefully to see if you like the dirty blonde.

@russiaforlife there is a difference between going whole head, ahlf or only a few sections, as the look will be completely different. also, you should consider how thick you want the sections to be.

usually, people go for whole, instead of doing only a few pieces. you should just go creative! :D

Why didn't you just do a multicolor weave using both your colors alternating? The spots that you bleached and then went over with brown are more damaged than necessary when done your way and I'm a professional.

hairdreesers would strip/bleach(if u bleach do it w a 30developer) the bottom half(that had previous color) and get rid of red/orange tones..lets say you can get the bottom half LETS SAY yellow, now the top half (with a 20developer) should be lightened yellow now all you hair is the same shade ..now you work from here, you either lighten some more or tone or apply a nice shade of blonde lets say a level 8..

when you have lowlights put in do you always have to have blonde in aswell?

they are usually placed on blonde that is way to light so to correct the shade they will apply 1 shade or 2 to deepen and give depth so the blonde isnt flat (low lights) so basically yes..unless you have carmel hair and you want to add some brown to it also (low light) basically your adding color not bleach!

@peenut0 ahh the same thing happened to me. You either didnt leave in the bleach long enough or you've dyed it black before. Id reccommend waiting a couple days and then bleaching it again or doing it the same day if it feels strong. If not you can go back to brown. I think i might go back xD

i personally like toners from Pravana they get ur hair silver white then gradually the hair turns white..if u have orange in it u can lift it with a hilift blonde found at sallys like...wellas frost ash or clariols 323 witha 30 dev

you know everyone will do it diff..but i apply it just to the highlighted part..ususally what happends is sometimes da toner will lift virgin hair jus a lil..

this has happend to me...but if u can manage to tone for like 5 to 10 min with a 20dev ull be ok if u get some on virgin hair

now ig ur hair is already bleached..well then its been bleachedand then were jus going back and adding some darker strands..now in ur case u would have to prebleach then add ur carmel color try a level 8!!
