@thakalikancha11 - Chang is ethnic Chinese but he is of Indian Origin. He was born and brought up in India. He does not know the Chinese language.

He speaks Hindi and is Indian . He feels more Indian than Chinese. Its not a Chinese going to India for Indian Idol..

its an Indian man of Chinese ethnicity participating in Indian idol. Chang has NEVER been to China.

@lucirz Not really. There is a difference between Nepali and Nepalese.

Nepali - Just like Indians have bengali, tamil , gujarati etc. people of Nepali ethnicity but Indian origin are called as Nepali.

Nepalese - Nepali's from nepal are called Nepalese.

Nepali is the ethnic origin like British Indian is an ethnic origin. Nepalese are people from Nepal. Although people of Nepal also call themselves Nepali.

Tamang is Nepali of Indian Origin.
