A new study has found that carbon dioxide mixed with water vapour infact cools the planet. What we are now being force fed is political propaganda. Global Warming is NOT the only way we are damaging the planet.

Climate Change (which I argue is influenced by man), is only one of the ways we are causing damage. Greenhouse gases aside, would you like to argue that the pollution from oil is not harmful at all?

Yes, it has been warming since the end of the little ice age 100,S of years ago. And there is a little way to go before we are back to the temps that the earth was before LIA started with farms and vineyards in Greenland again.

CO2 levels are 35% above the highest levels for 650,000 years.

50% of CO2 is dissolved in oceans.

In 30 years CO2 will reach 450ppm which most oceanographers warn will interfere with growth of calcium carbonate forming planktons and corals.

If we use the fire suppression for the forest and try to interrupt the natural cycle of fire and growth we end up with a situation like Yellowstone, when that fire broke out it is so hot it sterilizes areas and took decades longer to recover. the earth will continue to warm and cool no-mater what man does, like to fleas on a dog arguing over who gets to steer.

If we all work together it could make international relationships better and by reducing emmisions, recycling and the like we are making the world generally cleaner and nicer. Solar Irradiance has had no NET increase for 34 years since 1975. We have excellent satellite data to prove it.

Just saw a video by Dr. Christy (2/12/09), a well known climate denier from Univ. of Alabama.

He admitted temps are rising 0.14C/10yrs. That's 0.42C per 30 years, which is slightly higher than my quote of 0.4C in the last 30 years. He also said CO2 is rising 0.6%/year.

Temps. have spiked 0.4C in the last 30 years and are accelerating.

I'll bet MIT also concurs with that rise in CURRENT temperatures.

If you read the scientific litterature then you'll find that the little ice age was due to orbital forcing (milankovitch cycles) on the scale of Dansgard/oeschger fluctuations. If you look at patterns in Eccentricity then it would seem that we should have entered another glacial stage around 3-6 thousand years ago with temperatures around 3-6 centergrade below what they are now.

The Earth has been warming and cooling since bacteria started reproducing on this planet. These same conscious of scientists that are NOW saying global warming said it was global cooling in the 70's and are calling for THE SAME FIXES. We have barely gotten out of the little Ice Age that started in the 1300's. We still have 5-7 degrees of warming to fully recover from that time. This is all a mute point Mans effect on the planet is like two fleas on a dog arguing over who gets to ster.
