The guy does not suck by any means. The guy is an excellent drummer, very skilled in his genre of music. His performances are exciting to watch, too. Why people hate on this guy, I will never understand. He has been more successful as a drummer than every single one of us. He is not the best drummer in the world, in my opinion. @Handfinished I agree, but to me it's not about what you can do, it'a about what you can come up with - 'Anthem Part Two', 'Feeling It', 'I Miss You', 'Dumpweed' etc. It might not be the most technically difficult drumming in history but it is creative, distinctive, classic drumming. He's come up with some of the most recognisable drum parts in the history of drumming/music which will stand the test of time and for me, that's what music and drumming is all about. He's a Pop/Punk God.
@specialness16 I have watched some of his videos because before I watched them, I didn't know if he was actually a good drummer. I gave him a chance by watching about 15 videos, and he's is very overrated if you read many comments. The haters might have a reason to be haters. @voidstuff I had played the dtums for 2 month and its seem hard to play with only left hand. Of course he had play the drums for many years, but its not easy.

Travis Barker is so limited in his drumming creativity. You may not care, but the TRUTH is, there are other drummer who surpass him easily. in any category i would rate travis a 7 out of 10. and that's somewhat generous. you can look or listen to anything he does and play it yourself in 15 minutes. watch a steve smith solo, buddy rich, neil peart, or even carter beauford and it's like oh damn, what was that? how did he do that? that's when you know you're watching/listening to someone with some professional talent

unnecessary comment is not needed, hes actually a really good drummer. He doesnt just hit fast, he has a lot of complicated and impressive drum beats. And it takes legitimate skill to play fast.

i'm not comparing him to anyone, i'm just saying hes a good drummer, he has a good style, and Travis Barker is not a punk drummer, comparing him to a punk drummer was actually dumbon your part because punk is crappy music played by crappy musicians (True Punk) at least, travis is not stuck in one genre he plays punk pop, hip hop, jazz, hes a legit drummer and anyone who says otherwise is a tool, no he is not the greatest drummer of all time, but he is still a very talented and skilled musician.

Travis Barker is so limited in his drumming creativity. You may not care, but the TRUTH is, there are other drummer who surpass him easily. No ones gonna remember travis 30 years from now in the drumming world, but people like jojo mayer, dave weckl, steve gadd, and such will be forever remembered as legends.
