yeah, it was for contest. it was the first and ONLY performance of this (other than for our choir class a week prior to this) We still got a division I on it though!!
My male quartet sang this at Mississippi State Festival last week. The performance was absolutely perfect. This is an amazing piece of art and Stroope has outdone himself yet again. Was this the group's last performance of the piece?
pretty good for just 4 people. My choir is singing this for a competition tomorrow actually. The Soprano and Alto are both really good in this video. Bass and Tenor...hmm idk, it was pretty ruff. Neither of them seemed to know the words, and sometimes pitches. a bit choppy, its supposed 2 be Legato, but other than that its sounds ok.
Did the guys forget the words? I could rarely hear the bass. But the girls were very good.

im doin this song in my college choir, and the alto and soprano were awesome!!!!!!! wish i could have sang with u, that would b fun :D

I sang Tenor, and I never could get that part where the Tenor jumps in to sing "-Spread the gold, silver cloths under your feet"
That was always a bit hard, but we got it in the end. :D
