There are a couple of former Drake service teshs who still service these (and have hard to find parts) -- if you need reference - let us know.
Do you have an FCC amateur radio license?

Very nice looking and sounding radio. Did you find it local on Craigslist or somewhere else? What did you pay for it if I may ask?

I bought the receiver on Craig's List. I got a Drake T-4XB transmitter and this Drake R-4A receiver for $300. The transmitter needed serviced. This receiver did not. They were stored in a barn for years.
