Don't know about youtube but...it's in The Kids Are Allright movie. The song Success Story from The Who by Numbers album is playing while he blasts the gold vinyls. But that song is NOT on the Kids are Allright soundtrack.hmmm... Might help.
Awesome video. Also, thank you for not putting a stupid credits sequence glorifying yourself at the end of it like all of the other video editors on YouTube.
thank you! And..um....your welcome? I don't like to glorify myself...the only reason I even put my cat at the front is because I don't want people to steal the video. (even though they might still) :P
i love that shot of the broken bass. i saw pete townsend on a late night talk show once, and after he broke his guitar he took the broken neck with him when he sat down for the interview. the host made a joke about him wanting to take the broken guitar with him, and townsend said something like, trust me, it's worth more broken.
I love this song! It seems a medieval composition, the songs singed by the story tellers. However it's right that the who sell out is their most underrated album. Maybe it's a bit unconventional, but it's beautiful! Great the Ox!
The clips of John with the scar eating pie? The Happy Jack video. The whole movie was supposed to be clips from that, but there weren't enough clips of just John so...
Thank you, Dear Boy. I much agree with both of you. This video was actually trying to tell the story of Silas Stingy (preferably John in the 'Happy Jack' video) and how the boys (Peter and Keith from Happy Jack) associated with him, as in the song. I couldn't find enough usable footage however. XD Sometimes I wish I could just films with the lads themselves!
loved that you put the picture of him in the Simpsons. It is really good. how do you do it? were did you get the stuff of him now. The smashed guitar framed is very cool.
didn't smile alot but fuck he sure could play that bass.

Again, thank you... and the cat is cool. I've always wanted a logo of my own.
Do you know of any other Entwistle vids? Maybe ones of just him playing his bass or an isolated bass track?

Yes, it has definite medieval harmonies and structure.

I agree 100% with KeithMoon13 there. By Numbers is a great underrated album and Silas Stingy is one of my fave songs by Ox.
Good job with the video montage, sir!
