ive been to the huts in 1:00, it is in lembongan island, private beach my Bali Hai. The huts are awesome. i remember i was kayaking in the morning, it was very quiet bcos it is a private beach, only less than 20 ppl were there, at night i can see stars clearly, eating dinner by the beach accompanied with bali dancers, i made friends with a father and a son from Australia and a couple from Netherlands.

@aholson not to start a debate...but are they now? Buddhists regularly pray at Hindu temples. I'm sure you've been to Thailand, many of the temples have Hindu gods. Buddha was a Hindu.

Given encroaching intolerant versions of Islam in Indonesia, Bali would be better off independant.

@kumarsa108 actually most Balinese are Javanese descent (former Kingdom of Majapahit) The battle was won by Demak in 1527. A large number of courtiers, artisans, priests, and members of the royalty moved east to the island of Bali. @foxfreaker Not necesarilly most, but a significant number. Bali was a part of Majapahit and then was independant until the colonial dutch annexed their kingdom.Either way it doesnt make any difference, they are a distinct people. Java no longer has the cultural wealth of Bali.
