mes jeunes années!! SUPEEEER ..... les 70's ... OOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUIIIIIIIII, c'est trop génial de réécouter des trucs sur lesquels j'ai déliré .. EXELLENTISSIME !!

Thank you SO much for posting this. This is what Youtube is for...the long-lost gems that no one ever plays... Always loved this song. Thank you KROQ of the 80s and 90s for playing the greatest songs.
There is something about Martha's voice that makes me think about times ago and past relationships. I loved The Motels and still feel as though their music stands up today. She not only has a beautiful voice but also has a beautiful soul. Thanks for the upload~
EXCELLENT!! Have not listended to this in like 15 years! Always listen to ONLY the LONELY and have heard SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER recently..but not this!! YIPPIE!!!!Thanks for the video!!
Whaaaa...? X? X was great as they were (and still are). The intertwining of Exene's untrained and slightly off-kilter voice with John Doe's understated but solid presentation was like chaos meeting order and getting along instead of fighting.
Punk rock, especially back in the day, was all about just picking up your instrument and playing, musicianship be damned. Even people who aren't traditionally taught have plenty to say, and Exene has that in spades.
I sat on a ship in the Gulf during Desert storm and listening to the greatest hits album. Look for the video "shame" that brings back memories of becoming a man.
I heard this tune around 81 loved it !Waited for it to come back on the radio all through the 80's and 90's no luck. Then I'd think did I really hear that song was it The Motels?Still I had the bass part mind and the word stranger or danger when I bought a computer and learned bout youtube.Typed in Motels and there it was!!! like 27 yrs to hear it again and it was for real afterall !!!
Mind boggling how this amazing band never had a #1 hit. Tragic. Simply the luck of the draw. Martha Davis and the Band was brilliant. Some of the best tunes ever written. Has nothing to do with talent. And Martha was as stunning and gifted as any Hollywood screen Goddess !
the utter sexy voice, the mix sax/bass, the very special delay on the keybord... basic drumming à la Fleetwood mac, what a strange combination. Awesome.
This the BEST song by the Motels - even better than Total Control - CAREFUL wasn't a hit - they wouldn't hit the big time until ALL FOUR ONE - but for me, this is their early peak. Sexy, menacing, and yes...dangerous - all in one.
Saw a clip for this on a show called Hollywood Heartbeat - I'd love to see that again.

Why America does not produce bands like Motels anymore? why we have to listen crappy music on MTV all the time.
