  • I don't like the word athiest. It implies non-belief in a known deity. I've never met a deity to not believe in. I prefer the term rational.

  • Beautiful message..

  • Re: “…and noöne is stopping women from reproducing to their heart’s content.”

Peak oil will change all that.

  • TRUTH IS TRUTH,also all religons are wrong. most woudn't no truth if it was dancing on there head. my thoughts

  • @necropolian1 thats a hasty generalisation. my thoughts.

  • Interesting! We need more people with this reason and clarity.

  • brilliant

  • I wish more people were like you. So bold, so verbally eloquent, so unrestricted in your honesty. You're a pleasure to watch.

  • "i dont tend to do what most poeple do, and thats good, because most poeple are boring"

    Classic

  • Such schools shouldn't be accredited.

  • I liked this video immensely, right up to 5:46. After that, not so much.

I watch a lot of videos put up by "atheists" and what I get from them is if I give up my faith I trade God telling my what is right or wrong for Man telling me what is right or wrong. I don't see the gain.

  • Well, FactVsReligion, I subed to ghostofdayinperson to stop the crime!

  • good :)

  • this is absolutely spectacular. I am starting to feel that atheists are getting more say in things.

  • I certainly hope you're right.

  • you are so amazing

  • one of the best videos i've seen

  • Just one thing dogs have more sense

    than those fool.

  • good work

  • Sexism is not what men do to women ,it's what our culture will have us believe is the norm. But culture unlike religion is alive and evolving constantly , and we ! with our tiny little voices can sometimes unite in our unity and scream like a demon ,so loud and clear it can not be ignored .We are this culture ! at least in our part ,and we are responsible for what it is and what it could be,

As for religion ,,, People believe stuff ,,irrefutable fact ,,

    Shit ,,it's a long road

  • women have themselves to blame if men conform to "manliness". Why? Because women demand manliness from men.

Ever heard a woman say "come on, be a man" to a guy? Or "hey, don't be such a girl"

Women want their partners to be manly. They reinforce this every step of the way. Young boys see all this stuff as they're growing up, the opposite sex is important to them and they want approval.

So guess how they turn out?!

  • We "godless freaks" have managed to somewhat control those of you who believe in the same mythical skydaddy the Muslims do here in western secular societies. YES, we still have much work to do especially in America where Christians try to make it "cool" or "holy" to be stupid and uneducated or just plain ignorant. We know those like you would love the chance to burn us at the stake & rule society like the middle east & we are not going to let that happen, sorry!

  • Who is "WE" you have a mouse in your pocket? I am saying godless women morons like you do not have the balls to spout that shit in a sunni muslim country. Prove me wrong and post it on you tube I would love to watch it!. And leave Christions out of it. Its about putting your big mouth woman point of view behind a keboard to the test. I will wait for your post.

  • @t10bravo LOL! 1st I am not a woman. 2nd why would I care about trying to reform Islamic ignorance when "WE" have plenty of Christian Ignorance in America to overcome?

America paved the way to the modernity we enjoy today by seperating religion from Gov. Science & rational thinking is what tranformed the world not religion! Every society controlled by religion has or is failing. Christianity already failed as a governing tool. Secular Gov is the way forward.

    Good Luck!

  • @t10bravo Who are you looking at? If the US did not have strong SECULAR LAWS then Christians would be acting the same way...DO NOT FOOL YOUSELF!!

Our founders knew you have to isolate religion and keep it from ultimate power if you want to advance a nation via reason, science and true freedoms.

    Good Luck.

  • @t10bravo I proved nothing but your straw man arguement is what it is...An excuse not to discuss the facts. Try again!

  • Yeah talking about imposing "my" ideas?..WHO CARES WHAT YOU THINK! HERE, I'M EXPRESSING MY ANGER...

    AND FUCK YOU !

  • i like to say that god is actually dog, dog is god. if humanity would base its religions on dogs then maybe things wouldn't be so bad.

would still be religion though. and who knows, there may be religious killings over butt sniffing then. xÞ

  • I second the views of this video... Sexuality is one of the last great systems of oppression in the western cultures. And religion is the vehicle..

Gay and lesbian people are every bit as great as any heterosexual, just a little more accepting..

Religion has become a blanket for hate under guise of "righteousness".

  • =OoO=

creationists & book thumpers I guess can not possibly stand the injunction in James 1:27.

it's far too simple of an idea for them as barking dogs I think.

it certainly would require of them time & means that would keep them from their schedule of social harassment other wise.

    Cheers pour le vid.

    cinq stars as all ways.

    =OoO=

  • im all for equal rights, but its ignorant to say that males and females are equal, males are much better at somethings and females are much better at others, im a man and too behonest i think raising children is the greatest thing anyone can do in life,i also think women are ussually better at dealing with young children then men are, if you look back 50 years, the more women came into the workforce, the higher the devorce rate became and more incomplete familys imerge equal right withcomon senc

  • There is a big difference.

We are not after your money.

  • I do not think people are so different regardless. From my personal experiences though, I do think that moving away from the religious beliefs I once had has made me more rational and open minded than I once was (Not saying I do not have a long ways to go though!).

  • @russian1mafia

    Personal beliefs? Personal?

How is the way the religious press their beliefs into society personal?

    How is reasonable discussion propaganda?

You do see that you are doing exactly what Ghost said you'd do...

  • and what am i doing thats so wrong? is being offended wrong? when you belive in somthing, and others talk down on you, you will get pissed to. i dont want to start any hate but cmon, give us some space.

and yes, what i belive is very personal to me, i dont belive everything in the bible because i have common sense, but what i do belive, i hold very close to me.

  • If someone believes that leprechauns live in their shoes, that's one thing.

If they want to pass laws to force people to buy wooden shoes because that's what leprechauns prefer, then we have a problem. If these people indoctrinate their children and the children of others with this belief, we have a problem.

It's much more than "personal belief".

Also, the truth doesn't fear criticism. How can you have a problem with adults presenting arguments and counter arguments about a factual issue?

  • You have no idea what i have lived through and you judge me. yes, i understand that people use religion as a weapon, i see that my friend. its shamefull. mabey god doesint exist, But his idea does, and that dea gives people Hope. you might not need hope, but not everyone lives your life. you must understand that. i am not loyal to my country, i am only loyal to my moral and to god. i wish i could help everyone be at peace. we know nothing of this world. who are we to judge others?

  • I'm not judging you - I defended arguing against religion. The problem is that the "bad half" of religion uses the same arguments as the "good half". So when outspoken atheists argue against the claims made by the "bad half", everyone else (like yourself) gets offended, because the claims overlap.

The double-sided nature of religion is indeed a problem and I'm not quite sure how to tackle it. If we're silent, the "bad half" runs amuck. If we speak up, we offend.

  • It should also be noted that vague concepts of an unknowable God can't be used to control anyone or encourage attrocities. The problem is specific claims about what this unknowable God wants us to do. Personally I wish my fellow atheists would focus on the specific claims made about these (ironically) unknowable gods, and not be drawn into a debate about whether ANY God exists. This would (maybe?) be less offensive but still have the same result, practically.

  • the people using god as a weapon are ussualy atheist, because they dont believe what they are doing is wrong, there for, they wont get punished. does that sound offencive? all i see you "good" atheist doing is complaining and talking. if you want change, you must make change. go to iran, help the people there that are suffering from religion, if you dont care about the people, than stop with your nonsense. the only thing i want to do in this life is to help others. what are your goals?

  • What do you mean "help people suffering from religion"? Religion is a belief, not a "thing". You can't, like, kill it. It's an idea. It exists as long as people believe it. The way to change a belief is indeed to argue it. For example, slavery no longer exists in the world because of debate - not because of a physical action taken.

RE: atheist using god as weapon:

Unless you're claiming that all theists who use religion to excuse evil must be secret atheists , then I have no idea what you mean.

  • You can't kill it but it can kill you.

  • "what are your goals?"

I think it's a common human goal to want to help people / make things better / decrease suffering and increase happiness. We (mostly) just disagree on how to do it. I of course have specific personal goeals, however I rank the honest search for truth just about equal in importance with improving the human condition/situation. But in most cases it seems that truth goes hand-in-hand with freedom and lack of suffering.

  • @russian1mafia because religion teaches us to ignore logic, the same logic that has increased our life expectancy 38% in the last 80 years

  • Science isn't technically something that should interfere with someone's beliefs. It's just because certain researches in science seem to contradict biblical teachings, that the entire umbrella of practices are shunned, and still misunderstood. In fact, plenty of religious people understand belief vs. science as two separate concepts, but just like any argument about anything... seems the craziest ones are the most vocal.

  • I love the music in this , the editing is a work Art , very surreal

  • *****!!!!!

  • I think we're all bound to gender roles to an extent, since it's in our instinct.

  • While it is true that we have certain responses hardwired into us, it's still possible to overcome such biases, especially, since most images of "gender roles" are caused by our upbringing.

  • @xxxFaustusxxx Ah...but how much is instinct and how much is taught from birth? Also, why is my insinct so different from others with the same two xx and genitalia? We are humans first. Gender is fairly fluid.

  • Great vid, but those eyes at then end were just creepy! Especially when combined with the music :)

  • Really like the Ghost of Day segment.

  • great vid!

  • ghostofdayinperson has an other sub now, Thank you for configuring it so we could do knowing about her video channel.

    Great idea BTW.

Everybody remember to do 5 stars :)

  • What I don't understand is that women always say they try to act like a guy would not to be on the spot about gender rolls but in the court house they obviously will pick "I'm a girl it's worse to hit a girl then a guy therefore you must be confirmed guilty and given a bigger punishment" over "I am a girl you are a guy we are equal and shall be treated as such." obviously you see my point?

  • Show me one feminist who has ever said both of those things, and I'll concede the point. Otherwise I'm just going to assume that you're setting up a strawman so that you look better when you attempt to knock it down.

  • And...my answer is NO, but yes...and sometimes maybe if you could care less?

  • Perhaps you could try attempting to make sense next time.

  • WOW! I love this video. well made well thought out, I love it. I have subscribed to ghostofdayinperson

  • All right! Oh wait...

    BOOTS!

    Damn.

  • I subbed her long ago (well.. 5-6 months ago) - the 'Hey Zeus' video got my attention - I loved her version :p

  • i love you i love this person ohh my god <3
  • Sounds like GLaDOS

  • going to go sub right now....I also Fav'd this and shared it on face book....This woman is a rock star and I love her tactic...for to long we have allowed the insane a voice...and I say the insane have done enough damage and we the sane need to take our planet back.

  • Hell yea she is undersubbed

she tells the truth and people don't like to hear the truth, she's better than amazing atheist, saturnfilms, and all those idiots put together.

    Ghost fucking Rules !

  • nice real nice gr8 vid

  • Excellent sociological arguments in the first part.

  • eloquent..

  • yep, "bless you" , " I'll pray for you" means shit to the average christian. Just a way to assert that they are above their opponent. The christian brand of "love" sucks ass

  • 3 months ago she made a video about Glen Beck while using the popular Chris Crocker satire (and it was very funny).

I made a joking comment that she wasn't a guy (as references to seeing some people think Crocker was a woman and not a cross dresser).

She took this seriously, posted a reply, deleted both comments and then blocked me.

The acronym VFX comes to mind, but at least she gives a notorious respond before censoring.

  • Dude, comparing me to venom is not wise.

  • ghostofdayinperson - Issuing a reply while not focusing on the point at all isn't an indication of wisdom either.

In a singular example, you do show a similar characteristic to VFX. If a person has one similarity compared to another it doesn't mean they're identical about everything.

In July you showed a characteristic similar to that of VFX. There's no denying it because I have a copy of your comment and a picture of the blocked message.

  • Sue me.

  • Responce to myself:

ghostofdayinperson issued a response but she shortly deleted it.

This is the original comment response to me in this video:

"Dude, comparing me to venom is not wise."

Why do we go after censors that don't support our views yet censors who forward our viewpoint get permit without question?

  • I unsubbed from g.o.d.i.p. a while back. It was facepalm to find one of her vids here. There's something off with this broad.

  • Agree. Heh.

  • I remember why I unsubbed from you a while back, running into your comments here...You, Dude, are a bitch.

  • I said its not wise to compare me to Shawn because you seem to forget that he is my husband. He has a very bad temper and you never know what's going to set him off. I'm just trying to protect you.

  • So, is he good in bed?

    Just sayin.....

  • He seems to stay in bed these days more than ever. You see, he's not well. Baby Nephy is a real hand full!

  • ghostofdayinperson - Funnily enough, your two videos Mr. And Mrs Fang, episodes one and two both have their ratings disabled, which is a characteristic popular with VFX.

    I'm wasting my time aren't I?

  • I issued a vote bot on myself. I deserve to be censored. I'm a dirty rotten sinner and I need to learn my lesson.

  • ghostofdayinperson - Hang on, let me clarify this.

You post a comment reply and delete it, then reinstate it. After this you leave a comment on my channel demanding sympathy because you're "putting videos up and dealing with morons all day". Now you're merely saying random things under the assumption I'll just give up and stop replying.

I did have videos, but I'm still dealing with morons. From reading these comments, you're no better than a creationist.

  • Since I like you so much already, I'm gonna let you get the last word in twice. Is there anything else you wish to say?

  • ghostofdayinperson - I made my point in the first two comments of this video.

    So no.

  • Okay then, G.O.D. bless!

  • she's genius.

  • i like her

  • I love this video, thank you turned me on to the channel I just subbed and I didn't even finish the vid yet

  • Thanks for pointing this channel out to me.

  • Woof! Woof!

Will somebody please shut that fucking dog up?!

It"s three in the morning for Christ's sake!

  • awsome music

  • She is great.

  • This sounds like my DefenderOfReason. I miss her work!

  • big fan of you and ghostofday, keep up the good work. :)

  • very good!

  • Excellent work.

  • The best anti-organised-religion video I've seen in quite some time. Excellent work as always, Fact.

  • Breathtakingly wonderful video.

  • This is absolutely brilliant.

  • As the saying goes "If you're not angry, you're not paying attention.

  • That was amazing. Thank you. I'm subbing to all the people in that video that I hadn't already known of.

  • Some of my favorite people on YouTube together. This is spoiling me. Thank you.

  • I never really seen the point of marriage. Its just a legal leash that causes a shitload of problems when you inevetably get tired of the person you are with, forcing you to stay in a relationship that no longer serves a purpose for you.

Better not to involve the state and legal system in your relationships. Nothing lasts forever no matter what young fools in love may think, and not getting married saves a lot of time and money in the end.

Its an antiquated practice that has become obsolete.

  • I agree, LordOfTheLard...i try never to invite the law into my life if i can help it. Keep marriage in the churches where it belongs; it's an archaic, superstitious institution.

  • I have to say I agree with both you, FractalHelix777, and LordOfTheLard. All around me I see my friends almost RUSHING to get married, because this is one of the things that both eatern AND western society considers an essential part of a modern relationship. I have tried SO HARD to pretend - to reconcile myself to this institution, but I simply cannot see it as anything other than a long obsolete RITUAL. The few people in my life I have confessed this to have looked at me as if I'm insane.

  • You have no reason to get married if you don't want to. I think that for most people marriage is a good system for raising children and sharing property in a mutually beneficial relationships and the symbolism of the ritual has value to them. If it does not to you, then find an alternative way to live, many have. If you change your mind later and want that ritual then fine. Just be aware of what you gain and lose by both decisions. There is no absolute right or wrong in this issue.

  • Well, marriage gets you considerable tax benefits in almost any state on earth. As I see it, that's about the biggest practical advantage it has.

  • Absolutely true. I just lament the fact that the decision NOT to get married is viewed by others with such fierce narrow-mindedness... In my experience, anyway.

  • GoD owns :) Great video

    All love from me Jasmine

  • I like your additions to the original video.

  • I originally thought this was a ZJemptv video, glad I watched it anyhow. ZJ is just so cool.

  • Im sorry but I have a hard time believing roman polanski and woody allen arent the chosen ones

  • I don't know if the comparison between dog:master and Christian:God has an accurate depiction of the social construct of dogs. In a dog group there will be a pecking order and humans can fill any bit of their society. Dogs don't worship their masters, they obey them as long as they act dominant and give them food.

Sounds a lot different than the personification of ideals and wishes. They protect their God to protect their image of themselves having societal and moral high-ground.

  • EY! Thx fact !! It seems like I have forgotten how a good vid editor you are! but thx for the reminder!

  • I am watching all former vids from these two (fan screams). ^__^

  • She is totally WRONG.

    Christians are WORSE than dog.

  • Ah but I said they were if you listen closely.....

  • @ghostofdayinperson LOL indeed. agree on every points. Just got furious about those fundies.

  • YES!!! GREAT VIDEO!

    Territorial false dichotomies! :-)

People are individuals! I like children, so I want a woman who likes children and that's ok! Some women have other concerns, and that's ok too!

  • what can i say except, well done!

  • I was subscribed to her, but i never got videos like THIS.. I wish she'd do more of these.

  • I'm planning on it ;)

  • Well then, i guess i'll be resubscribing!

  • @ghostofdayinperson Awesome, I can't wait!

  • This is excellent. Thank you for bringing it this attention.

  • I can understand why some women prefer the company of other women. I prefer women too.

  • Can anyone link me to that philhellenes video. I don't remember that one..

  • ..the first clip of his that shows up*

  • G.O.D rocks.

    @.@ <---(hypno eyes)

    Everybody subscribe to G.O.D.

  • Thank goodness most of the dogs are yapping, little, toothless, poodles. :)

Are you two subliminally trying to send The Puppy Pack my way?

  • I think it's quite clear that that conference call had an effect on our recent videos. :)

  • Certainly did. ;)

  • Make that two coincidences, on the same day. :)

  • Nah. Coincidence.

    :)

  • This is quite possibly the best video on the subject of religion I have ever seen on YouTube. Video response coming!

    lolshit

  • @DeSwiss

    Double dog shit.

  • Ignorance, dishonesty and insanity. Mix well and Hallelujah, you got religion.

  • Need to be yourself and think for yourself.

  • Bravo, satan just cooked a delicious bowl of spaghetti and shitballs!

  • Very good. Excellent.

  • Excellent video(s) with great points! One thing I find disturbing is when religious folk, even moderates at times, give credit to god in situations like car crashes, plane crashes, freak accidents, when someone survives, even though that survival is usually the direct result of a fire fighter, policeman, etc. Or when they pray for strength to get through something--they belittle themselves. It's their strength, not God's.

  • Any idea what the music in the second half of the video is?

  • ghostofday wrote it =)

  • That is 5* material. ;-)

  • I remember all these videos. :-)

  • very beautiful video, i like the analogy on the dog and the christian barking at passimg people.
