Such a great stand-off always between these two teams, they personally grab the NBA finals and make it their own little series for each year, I'm glad there's finally 2 different teams though this year, this years finals are great as well hopefully the Mavs get the ring they deserve
celtics and lakers are both great teams.. i am a hard core lakers fan, but never hated on celtics.. i think its just a stereotype that la fans hate boston and vise versa... obviously there are some people who do hate, but in my opinion, the majority are kind of moderate celtics or lakers fan.. and btw congrat to lakers for their first win of the series!! lakers 2010 champions HOOOORAYYY!!
@818doodooroo i agree i think people take the spirit of a rivalry pretty serious lol im a die hard laker fan and i love to see us kill the celtics but i'll say this. if its not the lakers in the finals im going for the celtics
eddie house, pj brown and james posey was a huge factor in this series. this year they don't have them. i hope rasheed Wallace and nate robinson could help them win another championship this year.
@seigard325 yeah, those 3 were awesome at what they did, i think the Celtics will be ok this year though, because Rondo has gotten so much better, hes developed as a point guard, and he can actually shoot now, he was so awful from the field/line during the '08 playoffs, i saw him miss way too many easy shots that seem to be going in for him now .
@Shepherd492 i agree with you. rajon rondo has been the mvp for the celtics and they have proved to everyone that they can still be very dangerous. i have to admit that i didn't expect that they would beat that cavs in 6 games and i surely didn't expect that they would beat the magic 2 games on the road. im sure that they prove to everyone that they can beat the lakers again in the finals.
