Calm down and fight Tidus. Fen's Tidus isn't all that good, as he's throwing dodge and **** attacks way too often. Blocking is your friend when dealing with them.  Get him into the habit of being a lot more cautious when using those, then pressure by different means.

EX-Modes CAN change the tide of battle, but only if they're successful. I find Cecil one of the easier characters to bait EX-transformations.

I thank the advice, I really do, but this vid was a long time ago. I did start using block, and he did get much more careful due to that.

unfortunately, for as much as I like cecil, his playstyle doesn't seem to suit me. my skill with him didn't get much better than this, though I didn't play that much with him either. anyways, thank you for commenting, and be sure to organize the tourney so I can watch the vids :)

i dont agree on the exmode thing.

its true that you can win games with it but if you outsmart the other you can win without exmode .

its only matter of mindgames.

thats my experience of playing online.

you need to push them in a corner where they HAVE to exmode or think they have to.

because against tidus I tend to use a much more defensive strategy, if I don't he'll just dodge attack the hell out of me.

This guy isn't very good if he is playing right into your hand. Still, I know how it feels to play against a runner. It's incredibly annoying.

ya but playing as frioneil i find running a proper stategy because it forces them to eventually make a mistake then bam
