  • You can say that again......wow! After watching Hill Street Blues all those years I cant believe Travanti has that type of personality. I thought he was different than that.

  • Boy, has Travanti ever changed! I hate to say it, but time has not been overly kind to him.

  • Love Dan, love Hill Street, but judging by this interview, he's seems awfully full of himself.

  • Great tv actor, thanks for posting this video. Travanti comes across as a top chap, very interesting family and life story and a top accent. Hope he lives to be 100!

  • brilliant actor

  • One of the best veteran actors to date.God Bless Daniel J. Travanti.

  • Where's Season 3 of Hills Street Blues ???

  • @agamemnon419 hulu

  • love him!

  • Daniel J Travanti is obviously a bright guy with lots to say, but the interviewer seemed invisible here. As a former journalist, I was embarassed for her.

You can't just let someone ramble on, as if you're intimidated or bored by them. I think this could have been so much better if it had been a real conversation. In the end, it seemed like a wasted opportunity.

  • @perugia20 you do have a point itoo found it a bit sad the way he was left to ramble on.

  • Yes I agree, but guess it was never to be.

A very good actor, best of all time.

    Thank you from Anthony

  • i wish that they make a movie version of hill street blues

  • wow! what a show hsb was! and what an actor dan was!

  • great show

  • Ten minutes on ti/ty. No wonder this interview is in seven segments. The interviewer needs to take a little control.

  • Watching Hill Street via Sky. The Captain sure looks older now.

Heh, let's be careful out there!

  • I wonder why didn't do much after Hill Street Blues. He's such a good actor. His performance in the tv movie "Adam" was one of the best you'll ever see anywhere.

  • HILL STREET BLUES, the best poice series ever

  • Agents, Directors, Would like to see more work from DJT - any ideas?

Loved HSB in 80's - this actor seems to have been marginalised - must be roles out there where he could make a great contribution to his art.
