To get more distance you should start your random rainbow stars from the beginning, then after the stars stop use your gasoline in bursts. 0.O It works try it.

keep your paper plane low, dont waste fuel on enginee, use as many windmills as possible and you'll easily get above 20000 meters

I absolutely love this game, its simple, crazy addicting, and has a challenge unlike most other commercial games. I was trying as hard as I could to make 1000m. A refreshing change of pace and excellent game design.
