people who are bummed out by thrice's new music aren't really thrice fans. Thrice isn't playing what people want to hear. Thrice is playing what they want to play. Thrice's new albums are pure genius. There old stuff kicks ass too. Keep throwin albums out there thrice!

It's sad that people can't keep up with thrice, so many older thrice fans say "old thrice is so much better the new stuff sucks!" would you rather they come out with stuff that sounds exactly the same like so many other bands? i prefer Thrice specifically because they experiment in so many styles of music and imo have been successful with each one

@psychoscythe I agree. Not only do I like thrice because they are phenomenal musicians but also because they are such a dynamic band. Too often I feel like every song sounds the same with most bands these days but I've never felt that way with Thrice cause their range of styles is so broad. I love it =] I got really excited when I heard they came out with a new album even though it took me a while to figure it out. I've been stuck on the Alchemy Index x]

i believe the audio is a ripped version of a CD that the record label sends out to magazines and stuff to review and what not. so its like a water mark when that over dub comes on.

I am very sorry man, the purpose of this whole thing is to actually show their music, just read the comment below yours, this one dude, FUrzkinder says "don't know the band yet, but i've already fallen in love with this song!!!". That is just one example. Anyone whom is a huge fan of the band like I am, will go and buy the album. Like I did for example. Also, bands don't really make money from album sales, they make money from shows, which is a completely different subject.

Actually, 10% of bands income is from touring and doing shows. 90% of their income is from album sales. This is why people stealing their albums off the internet hurts their profits so much. Touring is just a way to promote their albums, they have to pay for the venues, the staff, living large, hotels, food etc etc on the road. It costs quite a bit.

thats pretty mis-informed actually...its the exact opposite...bands make money off venues, sponcers, endorsements and merchandising....a band really only makes enough money per album to pay for there next recording session....they make very vey little profit off actual album sales...and if you notice its the labels that do most of the complaining about DLing not the bands...because those 6-7 figure salarys are being hurt by downloading...

I can sesne a greater depth in this album, Thrice has been growing continuously and in this album I can feel thier awarness of the world around them and how man has turned to sin and lives up to his "fallen" reputation. being a Christian Thrice hits home every time.
