Still running the Core 2 Quad Q9550 overclocked to 3.85GHz, Until it can't do the task, I will stick with it and be happy. When I can no longer keep up, I truly have considered going with a new gen AMD. I really like the new i7 Intel CPUs, but the AMD CPUs have caught my interest. For the longest time, Intel had a disgustingly unfair advantage over AMD. Now, AMD has proven they can do what is asked of them.

my faforit was the nePhenom 2 x4 965 Black Edition with 3,4 Gigaherz

andLevel 1 Cache with 64 Kilobyte

and Level 2 Cache with 6 Megabyte

and he was cost in germany (new) 230 Euro

Some of those guys don't seem so convinced.

There was a time when AMD were known to run too hot, though they are better these days. Currently, Intel do perform better, yet in contrary it's easier to overclock an AMD so technically AMD are faster if you know how to tweak them etc. I'm quite happy with my AMD black edition. It's one of the best overclockers I've had in a while! Especially considering how stable it has been so far. AMD has come a long way since the days of the slow K5 processors.

Daym Tommeken, that was kind of low lol. Can't believe you just said that. Truth still stands though, Intel is based on an INFERIOR architecture which they still have yet to do anything about. Maybe when Intel stops gluing their CPU's together. Then AMD and Intel can have a FAIR race. That isn't based on HIGH CLOCKS and TONS of Cache to make up for an INFERIOR architecture.

Until then Intel Fan Boys have a nice time gluing your Pentium 4's together and labeling then Core2Duos.
