Gracias Fenton, eres la elegancia personificada, y la busqueda inquieta que rompe barreras. Nunca te estaré lo suficientemente agradecido por darle placer a mi alma.
Fenton Robinson with his expressive voice and inventive guitar, all delivered with a lot of soul, made him one of the greats no matter how overlooked he was. Start with his "Somebody Loan Me A Dime" CD on Alligator, an incredible collection of his artistry.
I just love Fenton Robinson. He was WAY under-recognized. He didn't quite fit into any of the prescribed holes. He's jazzy for blues, not sophisticated enough for jazz. Not rocked out at all, so the SRV revival passed him by. I heard him 3 times and just loved him. His Alligator albums are great, too. Fantastic singer and player.
Thanks for this video...is great!*****

I saw him live many times. He always had a great band, my favorite times were when Larry Exum played bass with him.
