Are you going to finish this because i would love to see it complete. i was hoping you could help me with this i have a 48V 3.2A switch mode power supply and i am running FL-17636 solinoids but the power seems to cut out when i fire them only allowing one shot per start up is there anyway you could help me????
hey jeri, just watched your new pinball video today and decided to check out your other pinball build videos. You mentioned in this video you wanted to have a hard side-to-side skill shot but the kicker is too weak. How about a magnetic accelerator tunnel of some sort? (as in gauss gun/coil gun). Might be a little tricky to time the discharge, though. and it wouldn't be much of a skill shot, but the idea certainly sounds pretty cool.
i have something like this... scratch build except i cant seem to find an acceptable power souce for my flippers either the voltage is to low so they are weak or the amps are to low so they dont fire... do you kno where i could one...
interesting design - I don't think there's a mech strong enough to launch the ball up the ramp though. The linear sling you're using there is not the greatest kicker as it's just able to exert the distance instead of a lever like a kickbig/other style sling would do (at the cost of more space under the PF)
I can sometimes make it up the ramp with the kicker. Not strong enough to be reliable. The flipper does fine, but I'm trying a different type of ramp next time.
THAT was a pinball machine transformer O_O that is huge. they must suck through the juice then

@leokuan The pinball "The Getaway" has a linear accelerator, but it takes a lot of space. I just need a better mechanism.

I didn't think about documenting this until the third day and the progress was moving fast.
