@Auesomegirl You know, I romanced Fenris and completed the game but never got this scene. I don't know how to do rivalry romance and keep him. I'm going to try the rivalromance thing and see if I get this scene also. Wonder if a particular profession is required? (ex: no mage, mage?) - i don't know. it's different every time I play it. I swear. You try different pairings, different companions and u get a different experience!!! THANK YOU, BIOWARE!

@DreamXxXDemon178 I think you can get it at 75% rivalry. you do need him at 100% to complete the romance though. the red scarf is Hawke's "favor," which he puts on after they play hide the magic staff. friendship and rivalry are a bit different in dialogues and the general tone. I prefer rivalmance myself *devil horns*

@DreamXxXDemon178 I got the red scarf on wrist by havin full friendship too. If you choose the mage side and you are romancing him, he will stay. Even if you are full rivalry (possibly full friendship without romance) and choosing the mages he will be mad and leave but if you talk to him again he may second guess himself and tell Meredith he wants to stay with his friend. At this particular scene tho up above when he says "I will walk gladly by your side" that is his promise he will stay 4ever

@lwolff89 Hawke actually wrote everything down. In the Hawke Estate you can click the book and Hawke will talk about his/her memoirs or being grateful that he/she wrote everything down. Somehow I think Varric got his hands on it. Though the idea of him sneaking around like some kind of epic ninja is far more amusing.
