  • yr hair is beutiful, I'm inspired. I can't wait untill my hair reaches yr length. I also love the dancing, very funny, LOL!!! continuing with my hair journay too!!

  • I liked this video a lot!

  • ur hair is soo beautiful, i've been transitioning for a couple of weeks now and it seems like forever!!! i really like the hair styles in this video!! wht type of shampoo do you use?? i heard somewhere that shampoos with sulfur in them are not good for natural hair. is that true?

  • @aikeh257 Thanks for the comments. :) I use Giovanni Triple Treat shampoo. I have not used a shampoo with sulfur so I can't tell you if it's good or bad. I actually have never heard the rumor. I'd be interested in knowing, let me know what you find out. Enjoy Your Journey. :)

  • @EnjoyingTheJourneys That's true. Sulfate shampoo's strip your hair's natural oils and leave your hair dry and matted. So try mixing bakingsoda and conditioner and using that instead. :)

  • @aikeh257 I can answer that question for you. Sufur on natural hair is not good, it can make your hair feel dry and brittle. Pantene, Tresemme, Herbel Essence all have sulfur in it. There are shampoos that do not contain in which are found online. If you feel that the advertise products that do have sulfur in it, works for your hair. Go ahead and use it

  • Girl all your pictures looked so good. I am transitioning. I havent had a relaxer since Oct. 26, 2010 but I have a long way to go. I get so excited looking at all the youtube videos. Thanks for sharing. And by the way, how did you lose the 30 pounds? I would like to do that too.

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! YOUR HAIR IS GORGEOUS!!! Dance and Celebrate the Natural Beauty in Your God given Natural Hair. I WENT NATURAL IN 2010. My hair started out as a cute Fro (Afro) now it's growing. I MYSELF AM LOOKING INTO THE HERBAL/ORGANIC haircare line.

  • OMG I absolutely love your natural hair!!!! I'm thinking about transitioning but I don't wanna do the big chop (too scared). But I hope when I do transition to full natural my hair looks like yours!!! =D

  • What did you do during the transition to keep your hair so healthy and growing?

  • @myroxi2010 I would not advise you to do like I did with my transition.. I put in Senegalese twists and didn't keep my hair moist and I kept them in too long ( 4 months) , when I took them out, my hair was dry and brittle, I was forced to big chop .. do your research on how to transition, learn from my mistake and enjoy your journey. :)

  • @myroxi2010 braid (not TOO tight though) and wigs are great transitioning protective styles. Make sure you always keep your hair moisturized (moisturize and seal) no matter what you do to avoid dryness and breakage.

  • Your hair is beautiful natural! You really are inspiring. Im currently two months post relaxer with curly new growth already :) and im scared but really want to cut it off! lol.

  • @myroxi2010 thank you. :) The transition is scary but just try to enjoy the entire process. Have fun with it, even on those not so great hair days. :) It's so so worth it. :)

  • Beautiful!!

The combination of your positive energy, the fabulous hair, and just your general appearance. You look great!

  • @curlmebella Hey Lady! thanks! :) About the weight loss, I did several things to get it off, First and foremost for me was cutting out all sweetened drinks.. I was hooked on sweet tea and soda.. I think I'll do a video to give you more details.. look for it this week. :)
