@acred13 thank you for the info. What do you feed yours? I am a vet tech so i have the whole vet care tacken care of and i know what foods are good but as far as what is good for a sporting dog such as her im not sure what is best? i will look up the forum! Also about how much do yours weigh? mine is a female and she is 11 weeks now and weighs 11 1/2 lbs i expect her to be about 45-50 lbs?
i get my pointer in a week... im a little nervous about what to expect... i hope im not taking on too much lol. I have a pointer mix right now and shes VERY hyper and im getting a full Elhew bloodline English Pointer shes 10 weeks right now... are your pointers extremely high energy?
@xxlaciebrookexx Yes our pointers are very energetic, fortunately we live on a Farm so they are able to burn off lots of energy in the fields. We currently have 3 pointers and and a Border Collie, the two youngest are 3 and 6 months and are on the go almost continuously, it's very tiring but great fun as well. There is a great Pointer Forum you can join called ledgands . Can't put a link in here but just Google Ledgands

Those pointers are HUGE!! DO you hunt with those at all? I field trial pointers and mine dont look anything like that. Are they like 70lbs?
