Have u read BD nessie grows like incredibly fast, because she is half human and half vampire, (spoiler sorry ppl) she stops growing at some point and stays that way forever, so her and bella and edward and jacob will all live their lives happily. But yeah she is not a baby throug the whole story, she like a toddler in the end.
It's not promoting pedophilia, it's simply a way to find the one who you'll be with forever, and none of them have those thoughts, it even says so in BD, or at least Jacob doesn't. And it's really just to say that despite what Bella went through to get her happily ever after her daughter doesn't need any of that, she already has who she's going to be with forever sealed, and this way Jacob doesn't have to be miserable forever watching his first love spend forever with her true love, aka not him

But that's exactly the point. The people reading Twilight are mostly young, impressionable teeange (or pre-teen) girls. They read this book and begin to think that it's okay for Jacob to imprint on a baby. Just look at the comments below mine. They prove that. In Lolita, the issue of pedophilia is made out to be BAD. In Twilight, it's treated as a cute, fluffy thing and looks harmless, when in reality it's NOT. The same can be said for many themes in Twilight.

If you think about it; Jacob is going to be whatever Nessie wants, or needs, he could simply be a brotherly figure for her - It may, or may not, end up in a sexual relationship; as a teenage girl myself, I find myself neither repulsed from the fact that most people think that Jacob is 'child grooming', if you've read the book(BD) it says that Jacob will be whatever Nessie needs, no matter of his own feelings.

Just to some of the accusations that Renesmee will be pressured into something she doesn't want, how could she ever be pressured? She wants Jacob! She loves Jacob! It was never Bella having those feelings about Jacob in New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn, it was Renesmee! Bella loved Edward with all her heart, it was not her who loved Jacob, it was Renesmee, she loved Jacob even before she was born. She would never be pressured into anything anyways, Edward would make sure of that =)

Then again, all the relationships in Twilight are at best shallow, and usually disgustingly unhealthy. Over 100 mentions of how hot Edward is, and no mentions of him being smart or nice in the first?

okay it sounds creepy, but you have to read the books in order to understand. he doesn't love her in a sexual way or even a romantic way, not as a baby. there's just a deep, intense connection to her that is unbreakable forever.
i know that sounds lame, but that's just an explanation from a Twilight fan.

I've read all four books, and that hasn't stopped it from being any less creepy for me. The thing is, the relationship WILL be sexual, when she grows up. That is called child grooming. If you look at a definition for child grooming (below comment), you'll see that Jacob matches it exactly.

But that's exactly the point. The people reading Twilight are mostly young, impressionable teeange (or pre-teen) girls. They read this book and begin to think that it's okay for Jacob to imprint on a baby. Just look at the comments below mine. They prove that. In Lolita, the issue of pedophilia is made out to be BAD. In Twilight, it's treated as a cute, fluffy thing and looks harmless, when in reality it's NOT. The same can be said for many themes in Twilight.
