But you are right, Tyson lost against Douglass. Maybe he would lose even in his prime against Lewis. Nobody can say. Why I dont like Lewis is that he is only big. Lewis´s style benefits from his height and long hands and this doesnt require that much speed and skill. Furthermore it allows him to be high-end boxer for a longer period compared to Tyson who has to be extremely quick and explosive to keep pace.And speed deteriorates quickly with age

There's even a video somewhere on youtube with both counts side by side showing they were equal and Tyson took one second longer to get up and he lost because of that. Besides, who's to say that if Tyson had gotten up, he would've won? Douglas was ahead on points and certainly could've just finished him off within the round.
Actually Jones was fighting a little reckless in this fight. Lookup Roy Jones vs. Clinton Woods and you will see him at his best IMHO. Just the right amount of defense, aggressiveness and of course, Speed. I don't think any fighter in would have beaten that Jones. If RJ was a little bigger I think Ali vs. Jones in primes would have been the best matchup ever in boxing skill wise.

This is still one of the best performances I have ever seen in boxing. I really wish RJ would've retired after the Ruiz heavyweight fight. All people remember are the Tarver fights and Calzaghe etc. Which really isn't fair because Roy was a speed fighter that was way past his prime at that point.
@angelstorm112 i think that he should have never went up to heavyweight in the first place. he would have beaten tarver. him moving up in weight n beating ruiz in 6 rounds i think made him overlook tarver. he wasn't prepared for that fight.

Holyfield and Moorer were both pretty small heavyweights. How about putting Jones up against, say Lennox Lewis. Game over for Roy.
