The only issue I had with Odin Sphere is that it had more grinding than a junior high prom.

I know I will get hated on but I can really only rate the game itself as average if only for the game play. As far as graphics are concerned I give it 8/10. It was an outstanding achievement but compared to some games like Kingdom Hearts, or Star Wars it kinda flopped. Everything looked more cartooney.

The Music though I grant 10/10 for outstanding orchestral achievement. Its rare we ever see music that fits every part. For a larger review visit the Kh Fan Forums and look up Zerieth.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade is coming out soon in Japan with basically the same people that made Odin Sphere. It comes out for the Wii and look for Eminance to probably adopt a piece from that game as well :D

I was very lucky to work as a videogame tester for Odin Sphere when this game was not yet released. It was my first time doing that kind of work. I fell in love with the game, excellent artwork..and the music is so remarkable!! I wonder who are the authors and I also want to get that soundtrack...

Its so hard not to fall in love with that game, because it is so much more than a game. Its an artistic acheivement. Look at what Vanillaware did, they are so small with no reputation or budget and they put together one the most finely crafted games in the past 10 years. As soon as i saw Odin Sphere on IGN i had to get a PS2 so i could play it. It was more than what i hoped it would be. I want to make a game just like Odin Sphere.

Its sense like a piece of beautiful hope & sadness. The end´s game is just great, overall the last battle...the music, the animation, the boss, its reminded me a battle against a colossus...and the final scene, funny and unexpected; just like a old good fairy tale, for the goodbye...

Odin Sphere... I am an Xbox dude, but I really wanted to play that game so I bought it for $49 and downloaded an emulator, the game ran so slow I had no choice but to buy a refurbished PS2 for 70 bucks.

I certainly dun regret the buy. The game is just beautiful.

I loved this concert... having a spectacular seat didn't hurt, but the music... oh, now that was true beauty, every piece of it. I'm happy that 5/6 of my favorite pieces are up on youtube (Pain, the piano solo, is on the "Passion" CD I bought - it's missing from youtube, though...).
